Alexisonfire performing Dog's Blood live at Hordern Pavilion in Sydney on 11 December 2012, recorded exclusively by Moshcam.
Alexisonfire rose up out of the Southern Ontario underground in late 2001 like some monstrous and utterly captivating car-accident-in-progress. Hitting the ground with an immediate full head of steam, Dallas Green, George Pettit, Wade MacNeil, Chris Steele and Jordan Hastings have not only impressed the critics with their sour/sweet approach to performance and writing, but are recognized for their stellar musicianship, and the palpably pent-up tightness of the band live.
In August 2011, George posted a message to fans on the band's official website stating that with the departure of two members, Alexisonfire would issue several special releases and complete a farewell tour before parting ways. In terms of farewells, it was a fittingly fierce one. After ten years together, Canadian post-hardcore kings Alexisonfire called it a day in 2011, but they weren't going out without a helluva party and one last tour. Australia was lucky enough to be one of just four countries they'd visit and Moshcam was lucky enough to capture their searing swansong in Sydney.

Still can't believe they managed to get that awesome guitar tone live
When this song was released people shit their pants. Dogs Blood had the potential to be their best album since Watch Out! or Crisis. Maybe even better, we'll never know. The EP only had 4 songs, and this one by far destroyed the other 3.
My god. Dallas' screams were intense. Going to miss this band so much. They rocked that farewell tour so hard. theonlybandever.
Fucking best song. The whole band kills it. I thought that the "Dog's Blood" EP material had such great potential for the future of the band. It's a shame they broke up.
As of today my friend...they may be getting back together
Phoenix Mayfall And they are. :)
+Tom Whaley Confirmed last night at Riot Fest in Toronto. They're officially back together :)
Tom Whaley at the time of its release i was a bit let down but this song specofic has grown to be one of my favorites from the band 🙄
WOW....what a performance !!!!!
& probably one of their best song!!!
great song from such an underrated EP
Best song these guys ever did
the clean vocals are awesome.
4:46 is amazing
this is like the one song Dallas fucking looses it it's great

The Columbia Records UK staff did a quick round up of some of the tracks that got us through January 2014 for our 'What We Listened To' playlist and this one made the cut.

+LFCJFT96YNWA1892 I got to meet Steele in the Edmonton airport! Such a cool dude, got to shake his hand and actually talk to him like a human. Much respect for him as a person.

Great tune, but where is the mosh? 😄
Anyone how Dallas gets his guitar tone for Dog's Blood?
100% agree !!! They need to make new music...
Dog's blood is this stront 4:14
haha, georges shirt isn't off yet? must have been an early song.
Song just doesn't slap as hard when he doesn't scream FUCK THIS PLACE UPPPPP
the only singer here is definitly MacNeil
I hope Dallas gets bored of Leah and City and Colour and does at least a single or something with Alexisonfire, Canada needs new post-hardcore music, not Cancer Bats, not Protest The Hero, not Billy Talent, I want Alexisonfire.
So do we! :(
Sam Desai well its 2018 and still no AOF
you got it buddy
Why does the one guitarist always look like he's having an outer body experience?
doesn't last the song song however ahaha
is it me or is the bass kinda annoying?
It's you.
ron olmov yeah it was me, it's not annoying, but it's not a great tone either.
