I 100%'d Sonic Frontiers, Here's What Happened

The Sonic to Captain America comparison is apt as Sonic’s voice actor (Roger Craig Smith) also played Captain America in Avengers Assemble and some other Marvel things.

The upgrades you give to Sonic's stats don't actually affect cyber space, his speed is the same in those levels whethet your stat is 1 or 99. You forgot to mention completing all possible fishing catches on the 4 islands and getting all 24 Egg Memos
The reason why they made lvl 1-2 so hard is because they wanted you to listen to the music 😅

Honestly should have just asked Alpharad how to do 1-2. He managed to pull it off.
I don't know if it's just because I've been playing sonic since I was 3, but I really didn't find 1-2 that hard to get an S rank on, and if it weren't for the Alpharad video I don't think many people would be saying it's so hard when it's really not.
Just take the lower path at the start and it’s pretty easy from there
You don't need yo do any crazy rail skips, just boost around tge corners and ignore springs and enemues
1-2 was the only normal stage to get an S rank on, it's probably because I've played a lot of other sonic games and always went for the S rank but it was pretty easy to get
@@herov2 No, 1-2 really is unusually cutthroat compared to the rest of the game and it is VERY noticeable in a vacuum, hit the same wall on my own. Only thing that comes close is like 3-3 where it's brutal with pole swinging.
So 1-2 wasn't just me struggling, It took me ages trying to perfect it and I probably explored all paths and jump timings in the stage and yeah it's a challenge it get S
The originally gave people a 15 minute demo, it's suspected that they made 1-2 with that hard as a deterrent. There's a spring that slows you down while moving you forward really early on and it's hard to avoid

Considering I usually play like this, getting literally everything, I HONESTLY didn't see it as a problem.
But 1-2 WAS indeed the hardest S-Rank in the game!
Oh, and just so you know: Maxing out your speed (or increasing it at all) doesn't affect Cyberspace... So yeah. THAT was fun to figure out...

I had to be told that 1-2 had a tight S-rank, I found 1-1 harder as I was trying to do everything in one go (until a friend said that I didn't need to do that)

the tokens u need to fish are only available in certain locations and u can get more during bonus events at night which are not guaranteed to happen every night. fishing, if it wasn't for the nice calming music is the most boring thing in the world

just get every themed medal for whatever island and dod the challenges to unlock the map and youll easily have enough coins to get everything
I think the two hardest Trophies to get on this game were "Threats Identified" and "Combo Crackerjack". The first one makes you go on a goose hunt defeating every Guardian (Ninja & Tower to Master Ninja & Silver Hammer), and some of them are in obscure places to look. The second is basically a "hope & pray" achievement because you don't get a notification upon getting the achievement. Apart from that, the only mission I struggled to get an S Rank on is 1-2 - I fucking HATE that one!

So a laser beam can knock out Super Sonic, yet a Titan couldn't? Seems fair.

To be fair, it snuck him, and didn't knock him out but instead knocked the Emeralds out of him. Even back in Sonic 3, Knuckles was able to smack the Emeralds out of him when taking him off guard despite the fact Knuckles struggles against base Mecha Sonic. Seems like just about anything with a lot of force can slap him out of his Super form as long as he doesn't see it coming.
@@davizi6146 looks like it, an ancient laser beam, a punch from an echidna, a ground slam from Big Arms and Doctor Eggmans machine from Unleashed are all able to slap Sonic out of his demi god form.
That laser was a powerful artillery strike meant to kill The End by disrupting its energy flow. Of course, it was able to knock the Chaos Emeralds out of Super Sonic in one go because he can only bear so much power on him at a time; remember that Knuckles had also punched Super Sonic hard enough to knock the chaos Emeralds out of him back in Sonic 3 - WHICH IS CANON.

It took me about 28 hours to 100% the entire game and I swear I lost my sanity somewhere in one of the cyberspace levels

Getting caught off guard when super causes you to drop them.
As someone who just did the same thing, all level 100%, memory tokens, all fish, full stats, and all bosses... I can safely say I will not be playing this game again until the DLC. I am wiped out.
See all this would’ve been worth it if you can just free turn to super sonic and fly around after, that would’ve actually been a reward , that’s what is keeping this game from its true potential
I agree. That and a boss rush mode. I wanna fight the bosses again but not restart on a fresh file to get to them
Honestly,i am fine with súper Sonic not being a willy nilly power up you can use whenever,i kind of makes it feel more special because,why would you use súper Sonic when he is not needed?

You need to beat the Supreme Titan in hard difficulty.
Frontiers does the classic "Higher Difficulty or no true ending" thing, gotta be on Hard mode.

3-6 is my most favorite cyberspace level to actually speedrun, both with & without the homing dash, without the i got almost 50 seconds under the max S rank time & with homing dash while the max S rank time is 2 minutes 55 seconds, i got sub / below 1 minute 50 seconds, i like all of the cyberspace levels, but 3-6 is again my favorite 1 to speedrun (in case there are any there only without glitches though, because i like watching others use glitches but when playing the game myself, i prefer playing glitchless
Something i wasn't sure about is if i have to beat the revived bosses again or not for 100% completion so i fought them again

The game isn't even hard to 100%. The only issue is maxing stats. The fact you can't level speed or rings multiple times and have to go through the slow animation 188 times is really dumb. I'll gladly max the stats if they ever update the game to not have that
