And since Raijin is the god of thunder and lightning in Japanese folk mythology, could it be that the Mishima clan made a pact with him from that point on? What's funny is Jin is making Kazuya to be the villain, yet Kazuya is acting casually like "Bro, what did I do? You started this mess. I killed Heihachi because that's what he taught me". Also, It doesnt look like Kazuya actually has any serious interest in killing Jin. I think Kazuya has been through enough pain, he deserves some peace with Jun.

Just a personal assumption. So the Mishima Clan were ancient warriors blessed by the Thunder God and fought Devils for thousand years. Until the Devils succeedingly corrupt their Arch nemesis, The Mishima Clan, by sending their own Kin (Kazumi Hachijo) to get impregnated by a Mishima (Heihachi).
There is also the Mystical group of Exorcist or Onmyoji, the Kazama Clan who are capable of purifying the devils power. Unfortunately, Jun Kazama is the last practitioner of their ancient arts.
Side note: Kazuya was not even at full strength when completely owning Jin. Heihachi in Tekken 7 held his own against Kazuya at full strength though he died in the end.
Kazuya and heihachi fights were fun cause they are both bad guys so there's no plot armour that protagonists enjoy. Kazuya did beat Jin effortlessly here but they will likely fight once again(the stormy place from state play trailer) and then you already know what will happen
@iloveyourvisuals878 Heihachi knocked Kazuya outta that final devil form. Even though Heihachi lost, it took alot to take him down. He was really strong.🤣🤣🤣
@@kingcombo9799Heihachi achieved an entirely new power in that fight. It doesnt scale to him normally It was just a suicide moge considering he lost his power up after his rage art and was left vulnerable which got him killed. That was entirely a one time thing,a last hooray before his death. I think that power is simply the Mishimas true potential, like Kazuya used his mothers power and Heihachi used the Mishima Lightning which is rumoured to originate from their ancestor Raijin(Japanese thunder god)

THIS IS AWESOME!!! I remember the first time I played Tekken - it was Tekken 3 and my cousin and I were seven years old when we played it on his PS1 console. We had so much fun and every character seemed so interesting! They all looked so unique and well-made even back then, but now, twenty two years from that moment, everything is so detailed and realistically made! Kazuya's scars look like actual scars, Jin's skin has pores and texture, and his eyelashes... It makes me tear up to see something I loved as a child grow to this extent and become what it is today, and see how every character has more life, no matter how fictional they are! And the storyline itself - I cannot wait for the 26th of January to see how everything unfolds! I (still) don't have the console I could possibly play this on, but I'm still so excited to see everything and slowly counting down to the first walkthrough that will end up here on RUclips before I get my hands on the game! What a journey! No matter how many years will pass and how many other games will come to light in the meantime, I will always love Tekken.
The way the game blends both story and gameplay together is the best I've seen out of any fighting game so far Capcom, ArcSys and NetherRealm should take notes
Already looks way better than T7, fully voiced and fully cinematic, no static images and no dull narration this time around. Also the transition into fights looks even better than T7 and the addition of QTE's is very welcomed. I'm however concerned about the writing and the character presentation. Bamco stories have the reputation of including only a handful of characters form the main roster in the story, making everyone else to look like they don't matter in the game at all, and the fact that we got such an epic looking fight between Kazuya and Jin already in the beginning could lead to everything that comes after it to not look as hype as it should be, and of course the plot itself needs to be good. I will give them the benefit of the doubt for now though.
With Heihachi dead, it's just some good ol Kazuya n Jin combat. So Jin can tap into the devil without fully going it, it looks like he's slowly learning how to use it like Kazuya can but obviously he's not there yet due to the fact that #1 Devil Jin is still a character slot(in the first few Tekken games Devil and Kazuya were 2 different characters til Kazuya had peep game n locked in) #2 Jin kinda took on a Pseudo form of the Devil to stay in control, not a full form like Kazuya can
It seems that Kazuya improved since his fight against Heihachi. Perhaps he noticed after that fight that his devil form was not completely invincible and spend some time training too.
Oh yeah. At this point, Kazuya has become a truly irredeemably evil bastard. He's always been the bad guy since Tekken 1 and just became more of a psychopath as the series progressed. Jin is and always has been the true hero of Tekken.

And it's only the first chapter, it does look very good but MK1 already beats it #FACTS
@@RoyArkonplot twist? I saw that "Kronika" was really Shang Tsung to begin with before it was even revealed
My boy Kazuya is raising the stakes of this tournament. Damn, I cannot wait to see how this all goes down...
It's looks like Devil Jin without horns means Jin still can control himself. Just like T4 ending.
It's jin with one fragments of Devil power not fully control
You are the first one I've seen to upload the whole story battle! This is fire 🔥lezzgooooo
Them fighting in the city and Kazuya's announcement to the world on top of a city brings back that Tekken 1, 2 and Tag cinematic vibe.
Its like a whole movie. I love it. Marvelous!!❤
This explains without *Heihachi* stopping Kazuya means he's free to do anything he want's. And beginning battle for Jin to try beat him on part of Tekken 8 stories chapter 1 /rages art: Jin- 4:12 | Kazuya- 8:22

Tekken1: Kazuya beats Heihachi
Tekken 2: Heihachi beats and kills Kazuya
Tekken 4: Heihachi beats Kazuya again , Jin beats Kazuya easily, then Jin beats Heihachi easily
Tekken 7: Kazuya beats and kills Heihachi with difficulty
Tekken 8 chapter 1: Kazuya beats Jin easily, maybe "Devil Jin" aswell
*in tekken 4 kaz beats heihachi
@destinationwithdimpi In Kazuya's Tekken 5 profile, it clearly states that he was defeated by Heihachi, making the latter the winner of the "Fourth King of Iron Fist Tournament."
Damn Jin finally trying to be good person he actually tried to save people from kazuya (minus he also brought down a building which bound to have causality but he's still trying to repent for his sin of starting most of this crazy bullshit)
But there the PTSD back from T6... Jin just murder ppl with cold heart by dropped bomb to kill them even killing Miguel sister there then we see him act cares and worried about them it just odd XD u can't hide u past jin!!!

Either Leo's father, or the reporter guy from T7 storymode.

Tekken 8 is gna be so good I cannot wait for this

Good to see this time most of the characters are in story mode
Kazuya really cooked him 😂
Jin cooked New York
Final fight says otherwise.
@@Nobodysurvivesevenonebityou don't know what will happen in the final fight
Just a personal assumption.
So the Mishima Clan were ancient warriors blessed by the Thunder God and fought Devils for thousand years.
Until the Devils succeedingly corrupt their Arch nemesis, The Mishima Clan, by sending their own Kin (Kazumi Hachijo) to get impregnated by a Mishima (Heihachi).
There is also the Mystical group of Exorcist or Onmyoji, the Kazama Clan who are capable of purifying the devils power.
Unfortunately, Jun Kazama is the last practitioner of their ancient arts.
Who's the explorer? A new character?
I think it's Leo's dad.
And in Tekken 4 Jin with wings beat up Heihachi and almost killed him.

It was just a suicide moge considering he lost his power up after his rage art and was left vulnerable which got him killed.
That was entirely a one time thing,a last hooray before his death.
I think that power is simply the Mishimas true potential, like Kazuya used his mothers power and Heihachi used the Mishima Lightning which is rumoured to originate from their ancestor Raijin(Japanese thunder god)
That laser beam fight of jin and kazuya looked very odd hope they improve it in final version

It looks like Tekken has got some back for the final chapter of this sequel starring Jin And Kazuya Mishima.
Kazuya is too badass.
Is it wrong of me for hoping that Jun would play a central role in the story mode? Because I think her return should be an event in itself

I really dont mind Jin
Loses
In fact he can grow as a character
The soundtracks are amazing.
They also added more characters on story mode!!!! Damn!!!
The way the game blends both story and gameplay together is the best I've seen out of any fighting game so far
Capcom, ArcSys and NetherRealm should take notes
LOVE what they have shown so far. What a GREAT moment to be a Tekken fan!!
With Heihachi dead, it's just some good ol Kazuya n Jin combat. So Jin can tap into the devil without fully going it, it looks like he's slowly learning how to use it like Kazuya can but obviously he's not there yet due to the fact that
#1 Devil Jin is still a character slot(in the first few Tekken games Devil and Kazuya were 2 different characters til Kazuya had peep game n locked in)
#2 Jin kinda took on a Pseudo form of the Devil to stay in control, not a full form like Kazuya can
finally no so-called main character unknown journalist out of nowhere being the star of the show, I'm hyped
This actually looks great.
It seems that Kazuya improved since his fight against Heihachi. Perhaps he noticed after that fight that his devil form was not completely invincible and spend some time training too.
There better not be any more *Journalism* in the story again 😤
That last part is worrying me 😟
Oh yeah. At this point, Kazuya has become a truly irredeemably evil bastard. He's always been the bad guy since Tekken 1 and just became more of a psychopath as the series progressed. Jin is and always has been the true hero of Tekken.
Lili is so pretty omggg
IKR! I LOVE HER REAL TIME RENDER
