One thing I really love about tekken is they have everyone speaking their native language and everyone still understands each other
Everyone just pulls the understanding of every language from their ass

@xxdawnxx3778 it's a story with fighting robots, bears, cyborgs, _Demon people_ , Akuma for some reason, old men, young girls, a sentient wooden being, a small dinosaur, Ogre, MY MAIN GUY YOSHIMITSU AND WHATEVER THE HELL HE IS, and various others participating in a fighting tournament and later on, some sort of world impacting struggle for freedom and honor. I don't remember. I lose track of the story and who runs the Zaibatsu outside of Heihachi.
What I'm saying is, characters being able to understand each other regardless of the language they speak isn't the most unbelievable part of Tekken.
If i'm not mistaken Xiaoyu does'nt speak Chinese nor does Hwarang speak Korean.

I like the part that they have all this cool and latest technologies in weaponry and the war ended up being a massive fist fight...

I like how Asuka's only involved in the story at all because Lili just dragged her along like she's her one-sided best friend. And Lili knows more about the Kazamas than Asuka, who only knows Jun as "this Jun lady".

I like the final fights of both Tekken 7 and 8.They inherited and distilled 30 years of memories and legacy into them which bring alot of tekken players both old and new to a state of deep introspection and reverence.
After seeing 1:19:27 I was shocked - this game gave me goosebumps! Tekken has truly evolved into a gaming masterpiece. The level of detail, the intensity of the scene, it's like experiencing the pinnacle of virtual combat.

I still love that the Tekken world basically gave the Tower of Babel the middle finger and has everyone (even bears) able to understand everyone.

I'd like to believe that every single fighter is actually incredibly cultured and thus well learned in all languages involved, including English, Japanese, German, and Bear.

In the 2022 trailer, both Jin and Kazuya were in their fighting pants, but in the final version of the game, their pants have changed.

this tekken's storyline is by far the most hyped! the storyline and choreography and even the cinematography is solid and completely thought out! THE BEST TEKKEN STORYLINE FOR ME EVER!
It's halirious that the mishimas are all descendants from the thunder god raijin with the abilities of godlike power and strength and yet few of them like heihachi ,kazuya and reina still want more power. Hopefully harada can fix that minor error. The mishimas are demi-gods already and doesn't need other source of power. it would be awesome to see a redeem kazuya go back to it's family roots where the mishima begun. Him getting power directly from his 3 deity ancestors Raijin, Fujin and Ashura. Jin has already a angelic powers, so Kazuya should get his own from the 3 deities. just like The Kazama clan which definitely got their powers from the Angels while Hachijio clan is already been reveal that their devil gene power came from Azazel.
The only way to defeat Devil is withan Angel. Classic.
No one won my friend, they were equally matched, and in the end they both used up all their powers in order to defeat the other.
This game really feels like the end of the series

The most epic, badass and impressive story of fighting games. Impressive from start to finish, excellent development and evolution of characters. One of the best and most unbeatable movies I have ever seen.

Not going to lie, Harada and the crew literally went all out with the story mode, especially with the character of Reina. Xiaoyu was awesome fighting the Jacks protecting Jin in the process. And can we put some respect on Lars’s name? Because even though he was no match for True Devil Kazuya, he still didn’t give up and gave his all. The Jin vs Kazuya fight from beginning to end was outstanding. I’m getting the feeling that Reina’s going to be the next main antagonist for T9.

I must say that after Tekken 7's story, I wasn't expecting much from Tekken 8, but this story was so campy and over the top that I ended up really liking it. I do wish that they'd mourned Zafina and Claudio properly, though. The ending cutscene of both Jun with Kazuya and Reina unlocking her Devil Gene could be a cliffhanger for the next Tekken or maybe a story DLC?

They did a good job with Reina's character. She's not a Heihachi regen, or whatever. They put a good mystery around her... And at the end? Why. Why does she have the devil's power? How was she the only one besides Jin to pose a threat to True Devil Kazuya? So many questions left unsolved. Did Kazumi's blood flow into her somehow? She can also be hiding her true age, meaning she's actually Kazuya's direct sibling. Mishimas do not age as much.
