This card is from 2013 (7 years old), and its unreal how still holds/perfoms in newest games giving a very good and playable fps and perfomance... Imagine how this gpu was perfoming back in the days of 2013 games so OP.
My r9 290 fares much better and is bit older...
@@bojanbojanovic4356 calm down
I mean, it's okay for the most part, but the R9 290X that was released a month before it absolutely pummels the 780 Ti these days, especially in newer games. You can play Doom Eternal on Ultra (with High textures to stay under the VRAM limit) and get 70fps+ at all times on a 290X at 1080p (and often north of 100fps out of combat), whereas the 780 Ti is dropping to 17fps on Low.

"Shouldn't buy this gpu as it uses 250 watts" (Looks at 3080 and 3090). Seems ok to me!
Should't buy the GPU because you get better performance from a 5500 XT or 1650S at a 4th of the power.
It's better to buy a used 980ti instead of a used 780 , those lie for about 100-150 and are more powerful than a 1660 super
I don't have a 3080 or 3090. Got a reference 2070 super that's going to last me until the 4000 cards are out.

Thx for showing every kind of gpus
Watching these makes me wanna check out some old GPUs in my own pc as it's just fun to see what the comparisons are plus it's a rule that all old cards look weird
Your channel is really, really fantastic! I will say this: I haven't had the same issue with Apex Legends. It runs @ 60fps consistently on my R9 280. It doesn't seem too crazy to me.
Thanks! Yeah, I experience less variation in FPS with the 280 as well :)
Kryzzp playing GTA V on ultra with 120fps: "It's very much playable actually!"
Me with my integrated graphics on all low with 15fps: oh yeah, definitely playable
That’s an awesome looking card. I remember being so excited saving up for my EVGA 780 Ti. It did get pwr hungry & warm so I had a ThermalRight sink on it that hung over e back and front. Model before the Arrow.
Nice video man 😁
I have this card running until this day :)
A Gigabayte stock model, served me well for 7 years and im still using it right now lol. The only problem is the relatively low Vram (3gb), thats the weakest part of this GPU. The chip itself is a beast (its the same GPU as the original titan), the Vram is a little let down.
Nvidea still doing this by releasing 3070 8gb and 3080 10gb . Which will be really low in maybe 2years. Dont forget the next gen games will come to Pc soon .Amd really dont care and give 16gb on all their recent lineup. Thats why RX580 8gb aged pretty well
@@jaalm4711 8gb and 10gb are like 4gb and 5gb of last gen, they should age better than 780ti did.
So happy seeing my old beast card running the latest games absolutely fine.. Unfortunately it broke about 2 years ago :/ This 780 ti is so dominant for such old gpu it is almost like 980 performance and its really better than a 780 and a titan. nice job rly impressed
I'll buy the broken one off you lmao gpu market is tough these days

That cooling design is so amazinh aesthetic wise
I just upgraded from a 780 ti to a 1080 OC, I absolutely love the 780 it and it’s still relevant GPU today.
Last game I was playing on it was New World at 2560x1440 high/Very High settings.
I was seeing 30-37 FPS, and the game still looked amazing.
Damn the accent😂 I'm in love bruv
Nearly a decade later and can still run all AAA titles 60 FPS. Pretty cool
I had a 780ti back in the day. Was a beast :)
17:11 "it's not the playable experiense" dude i play this game on 12fps
On lowest resolution and settings?
How can you even play a game with that low fps wtf.A game that hits 12 fps regularly is not a good playable experience
@@GabrielGarcia-lw4tb dude my friend finish SEKIRO with 7fps ... we are the real gamers
As long as it is a constant 12 fps with no stuttering and lag spikes, I would call that playable.
How noobs make their game harder: Playing with mods

my favorite gpu cooler ever, its slick, it looks cool, easily removable fans and as far as i remember gainward had some nice OC on the gpus that had it (i believe that cooler was offered in 500 600 and 700series only, we need this to come back :( )
I got the EVGA version of this card in March. Paid about $173 after shipping. (was a buy it now listing too). Glad I found it given the crazy GPU market in 2021. DX12 support means that modern games should at least startup with it. :P
Well this Kepler card Continues to show my gtx 1070ti founders edition(a Pascal card) it's real ranking in terms of performance..But How much heat was produced? The cooler was definatly running maxed out. There are downs. But surprisingly THIS LEGENDARY BEAST IS STILL HOLDING ITSELF UP IN THE ERA OF AMPERE
You can say whatever you want... This card is 7 yrs old, and performs just great. What a real beast.
Umm no... R9 290x is 7 years old gpu also and it destroy gtx 780 ti to pieces...
I remember I had a GTX 570 Phantom Edition, it was a pleasure to watch that beautiful design in my childhood.
yeah gtx400/500 series prob are first gaming gpu for many gamers nowadays, they mostly good memories
I got mine for $50 but I love the look of yours, the fans that pop out are very cool...I'm about to clean my dusty one and Ive got over 12 screws to deal with. My goal was basic gaming and minor video production till prices return to somewhat normal.

RTX 3090 - R.I.P me
When i first saw Gainward 's "Phantom" cooler I was very impressed by its design.
So when i bought my GTX560Ti back in 2012, it was the Phantom model from Gainward the one i chose.
im still rocking my MSI GTX 1660 ti that i bought back in april of 2019. it was only $279 back in those days. the card is still staying strong and actually performance gets better as new drivers come out.
Same here works great for me
I agree, i had a small budget to buy a used GPU a couple weeks ago......my choice was a slightly cheaper GTX 780Ti...or slightly more expensive refurb GTX 970.
The benchmarks say the GTX 780 Ti is slightly more powerful (it's a beast for it's time) but the GTX 970 uses WAY less power, runs cool and overclocks very well (can match a 980) so I went for the 970 instead.
Looks like we purchased a new gpu!
cryzin best oc bro..hay from CZ!
I remember I bying this thing in 2014, and it opened a whole new world for me
Think of it as gtx 1060 3 gig , 1650 , a badly cooled rx 570 with throttling
yes that's correct
Hawai gpu anybody?
@@rkadi6540 R9 290 is a good comparison to this card tbh, i do own a Tahiti gpu myself and it's power hungry compared to the newer models of AMD nowadays but still heats up the room lke the new gpus from AMD so atleast that's not changed. XD
So it's pretty much terrible. And driver support ends in October for Kepler cards.

anything can run rocket league atm. even if u have a gt 710 with a penitum gold u will prob be able to play it with 100+ fps. i used to play with a gtx 750ti paired with a pentium g2358 and could get 250 fps (max fps the game can handle)

Recently bought a 8GB RX 480 RedDevil for 70€ of a gamer who bought it new and never mined on it; set GPU voltage to -43 in afterburner and it doesn´t go above 100W while keeping pretty much all it´s performance. Not when you consider how much power it can draw for sub-par performance. At only 3GB, you're playing games at best 1080p medium in most games and sometimes even low to get a playable frame rate.
Also Kepler 600/700 Series cards lose driver support this year on October 4th, 2021.

ofcourse its playing on ugly graphics thats why it can play on higher fps on some games. ps4 dont play on this ugly or inferior graphics. also console dont do variable fps, they lock it at 30fps. are you blind? this thing cant even play doom eternal. plays cod 2019/warzone on ps3 graphics sheeezz this is a 3gb vram gpu the ps4 is a 5gb machine no wonder this only plays on ugly graphics like since 2017
