- I install the ZAutomotive Tazer and Double-Bypass on my 2020 Chrysler 300S. The ZAutomotive Tazer allows for the addition of the SRT Drive Modes and Performance pages along with allowing the adjustment of a wide variety of features depending on the MOPAR car that you own!

Great overall explanation, though I did see one review where installer noted you needed to disconnect the Tazer after the install period. Not sure if that was before or after the 2 sleep cycles, but they did get the Perf Pages to work. Have you played with the different modes enough to comment on the performance differences between sport/track/eco?
🤣 yeah I didn’t actually do a 0-60 test yet. I’ll get that down. The drive modes are definitely noticeable. Especially Track mode! I like the shift points in Track. Sport is good around the city. Track is better on a highway. I’ve used Eco mode but haven’t tested out the MPG difference yet though.
Enjoyed your video. I have a 2013 300 awd hemi. Will the Tazer allow me to toggle awd on and off? Right now its set to engage at 39°.
Yeah I’m pretty sure it will. But mine isn’t AWD so I’m not sure which years it works on. Might want to check out the user manual on their site to be sure.

Question, should i keep my tazer plugged in in the trunk or should i move it to the obd2 port under the steering wheel??
I recommend the trunk because it will be harder for a potential thief to get to it.

Can’t get the srt app on display dash but I updated everything
Enabling “PerfSet” in the “Performance” menu should give you the SRT Performance Timers on the dash if you have a 2012+ 300. If that doesn’t work you can try resetting the UConnect system like I show in this video:

I’m trying to find a rear srt bumper for 2012 but the 2015 version if anyone as any links or information in Florida let me know asap

Does it take off the speed limiter?
No unfortunately it doesn’t. I think you’d need a tuner for that.
Does launch control work tho?
Yeah it works. I already did a separate video on it.
Overall What Would You Rate The Installation process
Installation is simple. The only part that is even slightly tough is plugging in the double bypass. But that’s only because it’s a little tough to see the ports. But it’s a very basic installation overall.
Do think this install will affect the factory warranty?
No. But, you can just return to stock and unplug it when you get your vehicle serviced to be sure.
When buying a used car there is no warranty. Unless you’re buying it new, there’s no worry about warranty

Does it get rid of the apple carplay screen??
No, you still have Apple Carplay
Thanks, so i got mine today and tried to update it but it wasn’t showing me the device name or saying it was unmarried or the serial number nor the version then when i clicked update it never updated and then it told me the device was in bootloader mode and corrupt or something

I’m not sure. I never heard of that happening. Maybe the Tazer is defective.
So I installed my tazer today nothing is working I've unplugged the fuse numerous times still nothing I unplugged the battery still nothing is showing up on my dash or my radio please help if you can I have a 2019 Chrysler 300s
Are you able to see the Tazer menu options on the dash?
@300Reasons No sir, nothing the Tazer powers on flashes red a few times then to green.

@@jaytime300s8 might be defective too. You may need to contact Zautomotive support and get a new one.
