Exactly Tom! I was just so happy and relieved that SOFP came where i was fully prepared for requirements of each exhibit and thankfully no financial instruments. Despite the time pressure it was great.
Hi Tom, I got the paper which contains a lot of questions on revenue. I found it frustrating because ACCA keep on insisting about breadth of the syllabus rather than depth, only to assess basically IFRS 15. But, I did attempt all the questions and I am hoping for a pass Thanks for your amazing videos on RUclips that helped me throughout my preparation ✨️
I am glad my videos proved useful to you. The question on revenue seemed to revolve around a long term construction contract for the building of a road for a government.

I hard a question on a company that produces films. I was given Three scenarios and asked to explain how to account for the cost in the 3 scenarios. one was a case where the company produces and sell the films and they had a known history for that. The next was where they produce and I think upload to a website were people download and they earn per download can't quite remember. and the last case was a situation where they are paid by other entities to produce and and don't quite remember if the payment was to be done over time or when they were done producing

I think you were not alone! There are always new practical scenarios in the exam. That’s one of the reasons I love it so much. It’s make me think. So much more than just definitions & number crunching!
