Nothing is more satisfying than seeing a base that’s designed with intentionality and function. Such good utilization of space. Not a single room felt too crowded or had and abundance of open unused space. And all the storage, crafting, and recharge stations being in one central hub is perfect.
You even had the moonpool right next to the storage room for maximum efficiency. Well done!
I prefer everything crowded to be honest. It means I can get everything without walking..

one suggestion for your future videos though- plz try to make mouse movements a little slower and smoother. it’s a bit uncomfortable to watch for me at least when camera is moving around so quickly

I never liked building in survival games but subnautica is the only exception not only because of its cool design, most of things u can build has a purpose. And the choices are limited that's why it's friendly to monke brains like me who care less about availability.

Yeah I'm definitely going to copy your base and add my own twist to it as I was watching this video I was literally drawing up a blueprint on my clipboard with side and top views and I even Drew where everything would go in the interior although certain parts on might relocate or cut out entirely I generally don't do nuclear power I prefer to use geothermal so I will cut that part out and relocate the observatory and the scanner room.

Super cool. I like it. What are the coords of that area? I think I'm pretty sure where you are but just double checking. Is the containment what is feeding the bio reactors?
It's just south of the drop pod. I actually use the fever peppers in the bio reactors, they seem to work really well :)
The me it feels like this game is much smaller the the first one.
Idk i have a 12 hr gameplay in the game rn and i feel like its alot bigger theres alot of on land gameplay

Wow!!! Beautiful base! I’m on ps5 & just started. I tried building a base w the large room but had too many breaches the more I tried to add to it. It wouldn’t let me add the wall reinforcements or the platform… do I need to start my base over and build it on the platform?
Platform does add structural integrity

You're just missing a scanner room which is better then in the 1st game cause it saves and when u said u were lazy to get quartz... Like just try it's like wall hacks

I hope Subnautica 3 will have a better building system than before, they should try keep the building system as fun and simple as before. I've heard the next game will come out later this year.

No it’s on PC and consoles
First part is available for VR, hopefully they will implement it for below zero as well
Tip: Use music without lyrics in the background if you have voice over.
It is very hard to hear what you are saying because of the music and the singer saying words on top of you.
Is your mouse sensitivity extremely high or extremely low? Either way, it's really hard to watch.
If you are doing a tour, don't try to "point" at things with your mouse. Keepin mind that if you are moving the mouse too fast, we can't comprehend everything. Do it slowly.

More efficient than reactors, actually. With 2 farms you can have power just as good as nuclear. It's annoying that people hate on it, it actually is better than reactor. Also the small cost to maintain, unlike the reactor rods
