Give it a full charge blast and potentially bring the moth in closer since you might need it for more breath, then knife the shit outta it.
I also preferred stasis knife takedowns to prawn drills or sea moth missiles. That way you really feel like you’re tangling with a beast!
Stasis a Ghost Jr in the wrong spot? Thing will headbutt and kill you. Proper ghosts can actually break the stasis iirc, and Dragons? Forget about it.
I remember when i swam out of the map and the robot voice warned me of leviathans. Hadn't seen them before, but I nonetheless panicked and rushed back ti base. I actually encountered leviathans pretty late. I swam around, even near the aurora. Then, in the forgotten river I saw one. In this cave without visible exit

BANGGGG
That one deaf kid: wtf was that???
That first time in subnautica was funnier than a clown when you were a baby!
Once while running from the reaper leviathan he followed me all the way into the kelp forest
I wish i would forget the game so i could enjoy the game once again as my first playthrough
Jokes on you, Subnautica is fully replayable game. If you wanna get the REAL feeling of willing to forget the game, try Outer Wilds. It is entirely built on not knowing the plot and game mechanics, which takes you about 15-20 hours to explore; cuz if you know everything, you can beat it in 20 minutes.
Gotta love the music by Simon chylinski though (subnautica music dev)
The beginning of subnatica deserves the wellerman as its music
4:35 damn that reaper be lookin kinda thicc
WHAT THE FU*K MAN??!

Want to know what is really satisfying?
Finding your first copper ore.

Moonpool: subnautica
Moonpool: warrior cats
I used the air bladder and the pathmaker thingy a lot on my playthrough. Bladder early game came in clutch when I didn't have oxygen as i could use it to run to the surface. Also if i was in danger, quick getaway. The pathmaker helped me navigate wrecks and diving deeper than my seamoth could go so that I could find my way out of caves and wrecks without suffocating. Maybe it's just me, but I'm easily disoriented.
9:09 We've been trying to reach you about your seamoth's extended warranty.
When you here a roar but you don’t see it
Reaper leviathan behind you:😁

Floatation device original: Nooooo i cant keep up with the seaglide
"Detecting multiple Leviathan life forms in this area" the 3 leviathans that have been swimming in ciecles: 🤷♂️
