In my own humble opinion, Jollibee in the states doesn't have that kind of bomb reviews because they're trying to relate the "american taste" norm. Jollibee in the Philippines is DEFINITELY LEGIT. :)
of course but i also believe that in the business world, globalization exists. when a company tries to penetrate a new market, they need to study the culture and its preference. for an example, mcdo in usa, malaysia, hongkong does not offer rice but in the philippines they do because it is our staple food.
bacause for filipinos living or working abroad specially in america having jollibee is like home. So the reason for that loooooong line outside jollibee is homesickness and pinoy pride at the same time.
Tanda-tanda na, nagtatrabaho pa rin. Wala sigurong naipon yan, kaya napilitan. Gusto na lang niya magpahinga, pero kinailangan pa rin niyang kumayod. Pero OK lang naman daw kasi nakaka-inspire naman daw siya sa inyo. Mga pinagsasabi talaga ng mga Pilipino. Ugh.
One example of how little Filipino-Americans know about Jollibee back home. Dale Talde says that you always find a container of chili vinegar on the table. If he is referring to Jollibee branches, then this is false. (If he's referring to a normal Filipino dining table, sure.) I have eaten at Jollibees at all three main islands and I have never seen condiments on the table; they are set on a counter with the utensils, straws, and the ketchup. There is a finite amount of condiment sets you can take; certainly not one set per table. This is because Filipinos will douse their food with anything that is available, regardless of necessity to feel that they're getting their money's worth, and drive the costs of operation way up. It's kind of like how our KFC's used to have 3-4 thermoses of gravy in a common area, because their American bosses probably imagined we would get what we needed and come back if needed. Uh, that wasn't what happened. All thermoses would inevitably be taken by customers to their table and guarded with their lives while doling out gravy and pouring it down their throats, straight from the container. What KFC did was to install a gravy dispenser in the common area that could not be taken just so that customers would stop molesting the gravy. That's how fast food places are in the Philippines.
rdotified but wait you forgot to tell people about how the Filipino people responded to those changes to the gravy container! You know, the one where everybody just ends up filling up plates or whatever container they're provided with with gravy and then drowning their rice in the gravy. But really, how can you blame the Filipino people when majority of them basically grew up (or are probably still in) poverty..
rdotified in the philippines they give you one small packet of ketchup before the dispensers came out which can really be frustrating as i like a lot when eating burger and fries plus i ask for a side of mayo.
Man you guys finally do Filipino food and you chose JOLLIBEE. Not hating on Jollibee, it's legit for fast food, but there's so many good Filipino places especially if you're in NYC anyway. If you go to Queens just to eat at Jollibee you're missing out on some great legit Filipino food.
Congrats, you may have finally succeeded in getting me to watch an entire Nick Solares video. J/K I like Nick, although he was the platonic ideal of a skinhead in his youth, I can look past it since he appears to have grown up and I agree with him on the spinalis dorsi being the best part of prime rib.
Never judge the food by the way how it is supposed to be eaten or the way how it was presented, it all comes down to the way how it satisfies your palate
I'm most excited here for people being able to have a slice of home in their new home. Sometimes you crave childhood food and don't have the time or skill to cook it, so I'm glad to see more options like Jollibee popping up.
I was taking a business class in college when I learned about Jollibee, and was delighted to find that we have a Jollibee in Virginia Beach. I love it. I wish there was one in Norfolk, though.
Why in the world is the guy adding vinegar on every food he eats? Sotanghon soup is absolutely delicious and has chicken broth, so why would he add vinegar to it? No wonder the other person looked like she was going to vomit after tasting it. Aside from some of the breakfast food available, there's really no reason why there should be vinegar to use and certainly not on any of the dishes presented here.
Yeah. He's weird. Lmao, feels like he's trying too hard to seem authentic (as a Filipino) by overconsuming vinegar. But that's not really how we do it in PH. We make sure the dip or condiment compliments or suits the flavor profile of the dish. Not to mention he's spewing out lies about the food (such as the pies being cooked using the same oil where the chicken was).
I'm Filipino and I don't care for jolibees food except for the chicken skin and gravy. I'd rather support and patronize the mom and pop restaurants which serve better food.
Im a Filipino and I hate being called one!!! Jolibee are not being crazed upon by Americans.....they are being crazed upon by FILIPINOS THEMSELVES LIVING IN AMERICA DUH!!! Americans rather go Vietnamese or Thai food and that's a fact that I would like to emphasize!!!
They opened a Jollibee in Honolulu a couple years ago, and all the Filipinos on Oahu went nuts. A nostalgic taste of home. I drive it several times a month on my way to COSTCO. Now you have me curious, I gotta stop and give it a try.
Ji F. I got to try it too...the last 2 months more people at work been saying the chicken is good. nearest to work would be the king/dillingham and I like that it has a drive through
First of all Jollibee is for kids that's why it's so sweet(almost everything) And second is that Jollibees in America are so different due to different ingredients And third if you weren't born in the Philippines it's only normal to not like them...every country has it's own taste on everything👍sorry for my English...sono italiano...
I'm from the Philippines myself and I didn't realize what a popular restaurant Jollibee is over here in America. I have never been to one before because there's none nearby. Although, back in 2006, the restaurant that my favorite cousin had taken my brother and I to lunch was a place called "Max's of Manila", which served delicious Filipino-style fried chicken just like the kind you'd get at Jollibee. I hope to one day try out their food.
the first jollibee in california was in daly city and i remember driving from glendale (los angeles) just to eat spaghetti, chicken joy and peach mango pie, not to mention the free refills of soda and have a picture with the mascot. years later a location opened by westfield mall in eagle rock which was like a 3 minute drive from my house and it was convenient as target, goldilock's, chowking, seafood city for groceries, lbc, lhullier for money remittances and macy's are in the same complex.
Like how In-N-Out Burger is for those of us here in Southern California. 1 in 4 FilAms live in Southern California. As of the 2010 U.S. Census, there are more FilAms in the Greater Los Angeles Area, than there are in the states of New York and New Jersey combined. That said, good to see the visibility of FilAms in NYC grow. Especially given that FilAms, hundreds of thousands of who are Multiracial Americans, are the second largest Asian American population (as of the 2010 U.S. Census).
As a Filipino, imo most of the menu items are very unappealing for me. Literally 99% of the items are super sweet, idk and the beef patties have a very weird texture. This is just imo.
ahh it's so exciting seeing my old neighborhood on here :) !! i remember when this jollibee opened it was super packed for weeks and lines were going outside the door lol

if you are in NYC, get 7 train and stop at 69th st in Woodside. ( only 6 shorts blocks from jolibee)There is one block of Filipino restaurants if you prefer to taste a lot of varieties without spending a lot. I don't own or know the owners, I'm a customer.1) Fritzie's restaurant & 2) Baby;s grill (both have combo meals, no need to tip) 3)Krstals cafe and restaurant and 4) Rene's restaurant(both you have to tip), 4)Filipino grocery called Fil-Am (70th st & Roosevelt)
Thotslayer Dio I also study in a private school sa St. Andrews of Paranaque but I can speak/type English fluently. The question of the day is ,Why can't you do it?
Many Filipino-Americans have this thing about 'liking' Jollibee because it's the closest thing they have to the motherland, which is fitting: Jollibee is a knockoff of American fastfood, just sweeter. And that's generally what Filipino-Americans are: Americans, just brown. Jollibee is the only thing they can be nostalgic about, because our culture revolves around "getting to" America and assimilating above and beyond what is necessary. This is why White people love us. I will bet anyone a not insignificant amount of money that, if you conduct an experiment on different kinds of newly immigrated Asian families in America, the Filipino ones will be the first to develop an American accent. E.g. I have a cousin who moved to America in his 30's and somehow he spoke with a Midwestern twang when he came back the following year. Anyway, my point is this: Jollibee is okay. I eat it sometimes, but only when super drunk or high, and I'm rarely happy afterward, if ever. It's just like any other fast food place. Watching these Filipino-Americans do their best to try to make it more than that is depressing. Chinese-Americans, say, can be nostalgic about soup dumplings, or Japanese-Americans can be nostalgic about takoyaki. Filipino-Americans have nothing, and are trying to be nostalgic about sweetened American foods because they feel left out of all this multicultural goodwill in the culinary world. Essentially, they are claiming that a lack of culture is in itself a culture, which is absurd. It's fine for a Filipino-American to say that hamburgers and spaghetti are their favorite foods, but to act as if those choices are the ones made by those who've actually lived back in the Philippines and learned about the cuisine is just laughable. It's a disservice to FIlipino-Americans who actually know their shit and are trying to put our best foot forward, food-wise. In case you're interested, mMy personal favorites are: twice-cooked adobo, kare-kare (tripe and oxtail in crushed peanut stew), papaitan (a goat bile stew), kilawin (pretty much a simpler ceviche), and fried tawilis (a small lake fish, eaten whole like anchovies).
+Srujay Purma Three paragraphs? Come on, man. It's just a really long comment. If you want essays, read a magazine or a book. Careful, though: you might get shocked how long actual essays can be.
rdotified if you want authentic philipino food go to southern mindanao like in zamboanga Moro's weren't raped by the spanish so they have their own culture. you should try sati pyangang and tyula itum its the best
I'm assuming? Uh, you're the one assuming that the opinions of disparate morons (such as yourself) on forums like Reddit (without even specifying a specific sub-reddit) are representative of the opinions of White Americans. A much better metric for that would be the number of Filipino women married to White American men, or even just paying attention to how the media depictions of Filipinos in the mainstream American media are vastly different to how they portray African-Americans ("criminals"), Hispanic-Americans ("job stealers"), or even other Asian-Americans, such as Chinese or Koreans ("tiger moms", "strict grocers". Both of these indicate that Filipino-Americans, while perhaps discriminated upon in individual cases, are relatively "liked" in general. I argued that this could be because Filipino-Americans assimilate quickly, and with so much fucking compliance, compared to other nationalities, who generally try to keep their culture intact, and thus runs into some tension with some White American cultural beliefs. I don't what you're trying to argue for. I don't think you do, either. Just another Filipino on the Internet reducing a nuanced point into clear black and white, for or against Filipinos. I wasn't trying to insult Filipinos, I was simply making an inference from the facts. And even if I were trying to insult Filipinos (of which I belong to, completely), I don't think an idiot like you should be the one to defend it. The strong emotions you feel about an intellectual argument are laughable to me, and indicates maybe you should just stick to videos about that opiate-addled president of yours and try defending the "honor" of our country there. Sa Tagalog: putangina mo, `dun ka sa lugar ng mga tanga. Wag ka eepal dito, bobo. Wala ka sa wisyo, king ina ka.
PeWNyPnOY Anthony bourdain defenitely got paid, that video is here on youtube obviously a promotion video cause there was a jingle and dance sequence included lol, jollibee recently opened in the US that time too
Yeah, Jolibee is so mainstream fast food but it hits the spot. The spaghetti and chicken is addictive. No one has much love for the burgers though, but that's my favorite.
I don't really see the draw to Joilibee either and I'm Filipino. The only thing remotely appetizing there is the chicken and that's because there are very few options (that are nearby) for fried chicken around my area asides from KFC.
We don't get vinegar here in Jollibee... and also I was craving for Jollibee aloha burger but then its not available.... Have they given all the best food in another country??????
Lines? Definitely not the one where I live. And I live in a Filipino neighborhood. The Jollibee here is always empty. I'm not even kidding. They changed the location of it for pete's sake. I think they thought it was a bad location, but it was across the street from the huge Asian Supermarket. I guess that Arby's was smokin' them. Go to Azusa and Amar in West Covina, there are lots of little Filipino shops and such. No one goes to Jollibee. Hell, the Pinoy Pinay does better business next to the Shakeys across the street. This is weird.
Horatio Valdés - ethnic food in LA is amazing. It's authentic and has that mom and pop feel to them. No one in LA in their right mind would go to an ethnic fast food restaurant unless they were just really fucking lazy. Other places in America don't have what we have. LA might not have the best fine dining restaurants like NY but we definitely have some of the best Asian, Latino, African, burgers, hole-in-the-wall food ever and for really affordable prices too!
Some of what the Philippines eat, my ex from Colombia loves to eat - rice and fried egg, rice in scrambled eggs, the spaghetti side dish (with sweeter gravy or sauce)
I dont eat Jollibee that much but it really feels nostalgic everytime I eat it. There’s something with Jollibee for us Filipinos that I myself don’t feel from eating McDonalds. I love McNuggets tho.😅
Anarose Urmaza agree!! And the way she eats is sooo disgusting! She bites on food with her lip curled up and her teeth/gums showing! And she always has this "yuck-i'm-eating-something-different" expression on all her videos! Heck this is a food channel she should at least look happy with the food she's eating and convince the viewers that it's actually good and appetizing!
Lem Cem Here in Philippines.....They actually try and the fries.....well we like em crispy so dont complain ya have to dip it in ketchup for some amazing taste[If it uses Banana Ketchup] Second of all Burger....well try a diffrent one the cheesy bacon one
When your mom cooks better filipino spaghetti, you never really need to go to Jollibee for that. Still, it has been ages since I've been there. The only thing I wanna try again is the mango pie, aloha burger, and the fried chicken (Chicken Joy).
I just like that they use recyclable utensils instead of the actual plates. I just hope jollibee Philippines would do the same. We can't use like those unless it's for takeout
actually way back in the 90's all fast food chains does it but since prices went up they need to cut cost so they decided to use recyclable for dine out and plate and utensils for dine in
The truth is people like to queue to try fancy new food. And after awhile the queue will disappeared after they all tried and got tired of it. That is what happens in Singapore, the Jolibee queuing hype lasted for like only 3 months.
jollibee is very very strict when it comes to standard operating procedures. we are like machines in the kitchen that are programmed what to do and what not to do. cross contamination even for flavors is a big deal that's why we use separate oil for frying meats and deserts
Lol. Tomatoes aren't really sweeter in the Philippines. We just throw a shitload of sugar into the spaghetti.
Jon Wallace don't forget we don't even really use tomatoes it's sweet ketchup (banana ketchup)
Lmfao. Good point.
mpowerewd22 yes they do use tomato sause and just added ufc kechup and sprite and shredded carrots
Jon Wallace our ketchup is sweet, banana ketchup that's why it's sweet
Nope. we use banana sauce instead.
The one they used to have in Hong Kong was better then US...
@@jamesonball Even Mc Donalds is so much better outside the US
What makes the jolibee in the Philippines so much better?
Better foods and better resto. 😊
bacause for filipinos living or working abroad specially in america having jollibee is like home. So the reason for that loooooong line outside jollibee is homesickness and pinoy pride at the same time.
Funny, because I want to try some chinese food now.
Then why the title says: AMERICANS?! I don't see any dominating American people waiting in insane lines as the title implies?!
Clickbait. lol
Actually, Jollibee is American food not filippino food. you can have fried chicken and hot dogs anywhere in America lol.
Emmanuel Medina they say its filipino because theres also filipino dishes
That 'lolo' (grandpa) waiter at the end of the vid tho. Salute to you lolo. ❤❤❤ Gotta love everything about Jollibee. Thanks Eater!
Ako rin. Naluha ako. :(
Came here in the comment section to know if there is someone who saw the same thing as I did 💙 NICEEE 👌🏻

where is it in canada??
Betty Jones first one in canada just opened up last year in winnipeg.
Do have any favorites?
Never judge the food by the way how it is supposed to be eaten or the way how it was presented, it all comes down to the way how it satisfies your palate
6:12 salute to jollibee for letting old people work dispite of their age and to the elderly employee working as a waiter.
I think it's illegal in America to discriminate against age. As long as you can do your job, you shouldn't get fired.
I'm most excited here for people being able to have a slice of home in their new home. Sometimes you crave childhood food and don't have the time or skill to cook it, so I'm glad to see more options like Jollibee popping up.

Only filipinos will understand why. I don't put vinegar on sotanghon, i squeeze lemon on it. Acidity cuts the chicken grease flavor in sotanghon
he cant even pronounce it right. smh
Yeah. He's weird. Lmao, feels like he's trying too hard to seem authentic (as a Filipino) by overconsuming vinegar. But that's not really how we do it in PH. Jollibee in the Philippines don't even have vinegar in their restaurants.
6:10 painful to see, yet inspiring. hats off to you, lolo.
I'm Filipino and I don't care for jolibees food except for the chicken skin and gravy. I'd rather support and patronize the mom and pop restaurants which serve better food.
stevonyc34 yes. Every carinderia would serve better food than Jollibee.
Yeah, it's really not that good, even the fried chicken tastes way too salty. Actual Filipino restaurants are so much better
These are all totally valid opinions!
Mc Donald trolls spotted ☻😈
It's so true the hostess just has that dismissive attitude that's a turnoff for food.
The guy is overhyping the food but I don't think the girl is having it. Jollibee is good but it's more nostalgic than anything.
I love seeing the elderly man behind working at Jollibee.
That he is still allowed to work... this is fantastic!
More reliable
I remember when I used to live in Utah that me and friends literally drove to Las Vegas for some Jollibee
I’m reluctant, but the sound of that bite when they were eating fried chicken made it so tempting
she doesn't seem to enjoy it. you can tell just by her explanation of the Chicken Joy.
Ariel Dapito maybe words were not enough to utter the right explanations
Ariel Dapito anyone who's already try southern fried chickens can't go back to crappy chain restaurants
That's what happen when you get a chick that's tryna be cute while eating lol
Francis Santiago l'm also pretty sure the pies are fried in the same oil as the chicken. That's not a bad thing though.
her upper lip looked botoxed. weird.
The best part is that dancing bee. Dude seriously throws it down.
Vinegar on sotanghon and palabok? Come on dude pinoys dont do that
Glenn Labonete you beat me to it. First time i heard of this. They should get someone who really knows filipino food next time.
Maybe bec they don't have calamansi for the palabok.Pancit habhab is eaten with vinegar though
Glenn Labonete should be kalamansi and garlic and squid
I do it. Just because you don't do it doesn't mean every Filipino doesn't do it too.
These are fil-ams, definitely they haven't visited the Philippines.
They opened a Jollibee in Honolulu a couple years ago, and all the Filipinos on Oahu went nuts. A nostalgic taste of home. I drive it several times a month on my way to COSTCO. Now you have me curious, I gotta stop and give it a try.

why does he keep putting vinegar on everything. we dont do that. put vinegar on the cola why dont you.
Walang Calamansi bobo!
Maybe he just likes it?
Honestly my fam does. We make it from scratch. Its soooooo good on salty dishes
Instead of hating sa iyong sariling kababayan why don't you just reconsider? Smh.
V is VICKY SMH SMH FUVK IT
2pc chicken joy meal+extra rice+coke float+choco sundae=BEST MeAL.
Just have Lucas host everything eater...
that guy sucks.
MarrionCaine no Lucas is the best
MarrionCaine he can actually present and explain the food well. He has a good flow and makes the show seem natural
YES YES YES
Bring Nick Solares too. Profound Jolibee's flavor.
Jollibee is nostalgia for me.
I drive to Seattle from Vancouver twice a year to go to Jollibee Southcenter Mall
I dont put vinegar in my palabok or sotanghon soup
Hahaha the lady dancing with Jollibee mascot is my friend from Chicago. That was the time when Jollibee opened its first store in Chicago. 🐝
WHy do they have chili vinegar there but not on Jolibee here in the Philippines?
Because its Americanized
Papi Uno swap
theres one of these about 4 blocks from my house. always wondered what they had in there. didnt even know it was a chain. good insight.
First of all Jollibee is for kids that's why it's so sweet(almost everything)

I live in the Philippines and you guys in America have double the price we have here
Roundfaced TT no triple the price
From my observation, the serving is bigger as well. Yung peach mango pie natin dito pang bata ang size. Sa kanila prang sinlaki ng tuna pie.
Americans are getting screwed everywhere. Especially at home

too much haters for a fast food chain huh? it's called food choice and preference, no need to hate on Jollibee..
Rhamzell Pingol dude there lots of fat mcdonalds loyalist out there
Bro I dont see any hate here lmao
Sinag Sarita Carriedo i cant stop laughing😂😂😂
Rhamzell Pingol tama ka, tayo naman ang nagbabayad ng kakainin natin di sila

Everything was legit until that guy added a dash of vinegar to the palabok. I reco a calamansi. It makes a ton of difference. Cheers!
Vinegar helps to preserve the food to make it last longer..
when u go inside a jollibee abroad....its like.....welcome home....without a plane ticket
As a Filipino, imo most of the menu items are very unappealing for me. Literally 99% of the items are super sweet, idk and the beef patties have a very weird texture. This is just imo.
you clearly didnt grow up in the Philippines then.
Jollibee is a bad example of Filipino food
there is no good example of Filipino food
BrownGirlWhiteBoy U sure? 😂
Well, Just go to Mang Inasal then.. :3
ahh it's so exciting seeing my old neighborhood on here :) !! i remember when this jollibee opened it was super packed for weeks and lines were going outside the door lol
The price are twice as expensive as they are in the Philippines....
But the size of the food is twice as big too
But Americans make waay more than double what Filipinos make..
Average American income ($59000) > average Filipino income ($8000)
(For more perspective, the average Filipino-American income is $80000)

Thotslayer Dio oh yeah didint read that carefulLy hahahahaha sorry pre XD
Watching this at 4am and its making me hungry.
Wala ka sa wisyo, king ina ka.
you mean your greatgrandmas and your mom:)
rdotified sry mate didn't read it, thanks for writing an essay tho.
Mad love and respect to the manongs and manangs working hard at Jollibee.
All the people hating on this. While even anthony bourdain likes jollibee
Dan Gasapos he was paid to like it
Wolfleader2 Any proof?
Cupid's House the proof is video of him eating it
if he gets paid to like it then that goes with all the food he eats
PeWNyPnOY Anthony bourdain defenitely got paid, that video is here on youtube obviously a promotion video cause there was a jingle and dance sequence included lol, jollibee recently opened in the US that time too
Yeah, Jolibee is so mainstream fast food but it hits the spot. The spaghetti and chicken is addictive. No one has much love for the burgers though, but that's my favorite.
ofc they will say its delicious to avoid triggered filipinos lmaooooooooo
LoberaSupreme easily* triggered Filipinos.
LoberaSupreme I am triggered lol
have you tried it before?
As a Filipino, I agree how triggered some could be. (Is it hard to understand that different people have different opinions on food :O shocking)
it's overrated.. the chicken joy is the only thing i miss in their menu. its only hype because its staple the best fastfood giant in the Philippines.
I love how they Americanized the portions. We don't have the three piece chicken meal in the Philippines.
I don't really see the draw to Joilibee either and I'm Filipino. The only thing remotely appetizing there is the chicken and that's because there are very few options (that are nearby) for fried chicken around my area asides from KFC.
The palabok seems more delicious there than in here in the Philippines....
my favorite part 6:31
This dude just put vinegar on the Fiesta Noodles (Palabok) Absolute mad lad.
I must be missing something. 😕
Funny thing is Chef Talde has an Asian fusion restaurant (called Talde) in Jersey City where there's also a Jollibee. But they ended up in Queens.
Looks like high school cafeteria food, but not as good.
Hugh Jess Weiner exactly . looks like food they feed to little kids
Shahriman Shahrul Zaman because jollibees target customers are kids
if kids grew up liking jollibee they will take it until they grow older
nah it way better
Sinag Sarita Carriedo EXACTLY!
Hugh Jess Weiner because the contrast of this video is very low...that's why it looks very white and the color are quite faded
Arby's is nasty as all hell. But yeah the Jollibee in West Covina is dead.
Horatio Valdés - ethnic food in LA is amazing. It's authentic and has that mom and pop feel to them. No one in LA in their right mind would go to an ethnic fast food restaurant unless they were just really fucking lazy.
Other places in America don't have what we have. LA might not have the best fine dining restaurants like NY but we definitely have some of the best Asian, Latino, African, burgers, hole-in-the-wall food ever and for really affordable prices too!
there's a pinoy pinay in West Covina???? Then again I live like a mile away from the one in Cerritos and Gerry's Grill
Some of what the Philippines eat, my ex from Colombia loves to eat - rice and fried egg, rice in scrambled eggs, the spaghetti side dish (with sweeter gravy or sauce)
what they mean by "americans " they actually "filipinos"
Excited for Jollibee coming to Wheaton, MD.
I don't care abt the hate comments. Tbh, Jollibee's fries are way better than those of McDonald's
Miracle Gaming chicken too :D
Miracle Gaming Hell No McDonalds Fries Are Way Better Than Jollibees Fries. Kahit Pinoy Ako Mas Gusto Ko McDonalds
Thotslayer Dio Bakit Den May Kumakain Pa Sa McDonald's? Haha Idiot
Totoo. Pag naiwan mo ng ilng oras ung fries ng jollibee lasa paring fries. Ung sa mcdo nalalasog lasog sa bibig pgkain, prang pekeng fries na
mas masarap ung tag 10 sa labas ng paaralan
I'm Asian and I'm still confused by Filipino food.
I'm Filipino and still confused about our food. (in a good way)
absoliute I'm filipino and I don't like our food. it's always too salty, too sweet or lots of oil
chrisownz1 pity you, you must have lousy cooks at your place.
chrisownz1 blame your mom who's probably horrible in the kitchen.
wala sigurong marunong magluto sa inyo? Filipino foods are the best in the world.
dude...first time I saw a JB senior citizen crew...awesome
Hotdogs in spaghetti looks unappetizing same with those clear looking noodles. I'd be down with the fried chicken tho
Looks unappetizing (to some...) but doesn't taste that way. Try it, it'll hug your tongue.
Surrey Mane ever heard of rice noodles?
Chris Chua I'm just stating my opinion as a non Philipino. They might taste good but from stand point it looks like snot
Surrey Mane totally get you. Literally this is the McDonald's of the Philippines. this isn't a great example of filipino food.
Surrey Mane has anyone told you to never judge a book by its cover?
JOLLIBEE'S SPAG IS THE BEST FOR ME!!! I'm not sure if Americans/Italians would love it though because it's kind of sweet.
This vid is killing jollibee.
I dont eat Jollibee that much but it really feels nostalgic everytime I eat it. There’s something with Jollibee for us Filipinos that I myself don’t feel from eating McDonalds. I love McNuggets tho.😅
I'm glad I borned in a Mediterranean country.
I couldn't survive in USA or UK eating those shitty burgers, hot dogs, etc every day.
you clearly dont speak like you were born in a Mediterranean country.
Tedulous why?
jgmedina but there's a mediteranean restaurant in every corner along with every cuisine you can think of. (except Filipino food)...
I miss it so much 😭 wish they would have one in Toronto, soon!
only filipinos eat here lol
+The Prometheus Podcast my dad 😂😂
The Prometheus Podcast you mean "their"
Says the guy who only eats mush and pita
what?
We don't care.
Serena needs to explore, some more. Another good video.
Not hating, but none of that really looked good besides the fried chicken
try eating it tho...
lol jollibee really isnt good at all. worth trying once but trust me, for that price you'll go elsewhere
I love filipino food, got "family-in-laws" who cook legit authentic filipino food. But Jollibee BLOWS.
that fried chicken is trash
Filipino food has that reputation... You are not the first to say that, sir. 😂
PEACH MANGO PIE!!!! So good.
Their price is unappealing
Sorry to nitpick but this host makes food unappetizing. =/
joyjoyoo partly yea, and judging from the way he handle the food doesn't really reflect his occupation as a chef
Cyrill Rap Pangilinan i actually have no problem with the guy but the girl =/
I see, it's just a matter of perspective :-()
joyjoyoo the price in America is double the price in the Philippines I know because I live in the Philippines
She does looked grossed out. I mean she is Chinese and they do eat a lot of exotic foods.
Vinegar is made from coconut water so it's good to add vinegar in any of your fried foods and soups or anything salty actually.
im getting sick just looking at them eat all that food
i didnt know it got that popular, but maybe its because its more common in the Bay Area where i live that i dont see these insane lines.
Don't ever include that girl again in any of your videos. She's annoying as hell even though she's just talking.
Those two had so much chemistry you would think they were on a date.
To be honest....the food doesn't look good, and the way the host was eating makes me wanna throw up.
Chris Austria true i agree. i only eat the chicken here whenever i visit. but i gave it a try and it is delicious. but the presentation is not good XD
food is not literature, is sensorial experience, so yea you basically can judge food by looks and this looked terrible.
The chicken and spaghetti tastes pretty decent actually. But the burgers, burger steaks and fries are horrible also they were served poorly.
Lem Cem Here in Philippines.....They actually try and the fries.....well we like em crispy so dont complain ya have to dip it in ketchup for some amazing taste[If it uses Banana Ketchup] Second of all Burger....well try a diffrent one the cheesy bacon one
We dont tho...especially in the phil
When your mom cooks better filipino spaghetti, you never really need to go to Jollibee for that. Still, it has been ages since I've been there. The only thing I wanna try again is the mango pie, aloha burger, and the fried chicken (Chicken Joy).
I'm Filipino but I don't like Jollibee
True Functions then don't eat..
The youre not filipino
must be a muslim
True Functions thats ok probably your opinion
Why is everyone mocking the guy.. he's only stating his preferences
6:14 Im happy that Jollibee there employs older than the usual employees.. 👍👍
second!
Wow! Dale Talde loves Jollibee! ...love you master-chef Dale Talde!
Don't be fooled people, Jollibee is literally the worst
HerrOber69 just like you?
Cindy Cristobal right
actually only filipinos like jollibee. its a budget food. dont expect it taste better.
If Americans doesn't understand our culture
Uhmm Jollibee is not made for poor tastebuds sorry.
After playing Jolly 1, 2, 3, 3 chapter 2, and Jollibee. I am now terrified of this franchise.
MEH
I just like that they use recyclable utensils instead of the actual plates. I just hope jollibee Philippines would do the same. We can't use like those unless it's for takeout
actually way back in the 90's all fast food chains does it but since prices went up they need to cut cost so they decided to use recyclable for dine out and plate and utensils for dine in
The truth is people like to queue to try fancy new food. And after awhile the queue will disappeared after they all tried and got tired of it. That is what happens in Singapore, the Jolibee queuing hype lasted for like only 3 months.
Can’t believe I actually visited their first location and not only that but It was my first time in Jollibees. 😀.
Jollibee here in Irvine Ca, it's always the older people who clean the bathroom all the time.
jollibee is very very strict when it comes to standard operating procedures. we are like machines in the kitchen that are programmed what to do and what not to do. cross contamination even for flavors is a big deal that's why we use separate oil for frying meats and deserts
Damn im so proud that Jollibee
Is going to be world wide
They just opened one here in Toronto back on april 1st and the line is still on average 4 to 5 hours long
why am i watching this 4am in the morning?!
