      Filipino spaghetti isn’t for everyone. It’s funny cause as a Filipino myself, I thought the same thing about Italian spaghetti. I grew up on the Filipino version, so when I tried Italian spaghetti, i was just like, “it’s the same without some jufran (banana sauce).”

    Well, the Jolly spaghetti's target market was for children, well actually the whole concept of the menu and the restaurant itself that's why most of the products are flavored sweet. You won't even see pickles on their burgers because according to market research (in the Philippines at least), children don't like sour foods.

Especially since they didn’t know they were having twins (my boyfriend being one of them) and they were born incredibly tiny and premature

    I love me some Jollibee. Ha, yes, the chicken sandwiches are _very_ 'garlic forward'. The chicken dippers + gravy is NOM. The mango pie is deep-fried, giving it that crackly crust. I love the spaghetti, it reminds me of childhood. I'm such a sucker for their chicken - I need to get the burgers more. Thanks, Keith!

    Jollibee mostly targets children hence the sweet style spaghetti. And we use Banana Ketchup instead of Tomatoes (banana ketchup was created after a tomato shortage here in the Philippines, post WW2). Das whyyyyy

    I never even heard of this place. Born and raised in Hawaii I love the Eat the Menu episodes. First, I can’t believe Keith can eat all that 😳, second, I get to see all the foods that are offered at these places.
    I just recently started watching the Try Guys, I just love it. It’s my go to when I need to be uplifted. They make me laugh.

    I feel like the hardest thing for non-Filipinos to grasp is Filipino spaghetti...when you’re so used to like herby Italian marinara a sweet sauce can be jarring....still my absolute favorite though!
