  • The Detroit Pistons head to New York to take on the Knicks at Madison Square Garden. The Knicks continue to work on their team chemistry as turnovers still are an issue. Despite the turnovers, the Knicks took a win, and Jeremy Lin hit two 3-pointers in the game. He still continues to work on reducing his turnovers.

    The first 5 seconds where Jeremy steals the ball but Melo turns it over is exactly what Melo did with the Knicks.

    I suffered from Linsomnia. I couldn't go to sleep at night until I saw the Knicks highlights on the 11pm SportsCenter.

    This was Jeremy Lin's last game for the Knicks IIRC. He left the game and never returned. The next season, he was in Houston. But what a thrill he showed us at the Garden.

    I've always wondered if Lin didn't get injured in that 11-12 season, how they'd fair in the eastern playoffs.

    I'm tired of people discrediting this guys talent. They say he's a fluke and he's over rated. So how did he get his high school and college to national championships. Oh I guess that was a fluke! Can't wait till he plays for Houston and quiets all you haters!!!!

    If Lin decides not to re-sign with Houston after his 3 years are up, that'll make him a free agent and no doubt the Knicks will be the first to sign him. The chances of it happening though are slim so far because a lot can happen between now and 2015 for both the Knicks and Rockets, but you never know.

    An inspiration to let us know that an Asian American is capable to leave a mark as a decent player. He was the first Asian American to be decent or perhaps more and especially for someone who went in and out of D league and from Harvard and that's what the hype was all about. Again he is the first Asian American to make a mark on NBA timeline, not simply because he is Asian. No more, no less. But that fact is good enough to let Asian audience to cheer for him.

    New York is where he got a chance to prove to people that he had talent to play this game. He got greedy and left for Houston. Should've stayed on the team that actually gave u a opportunity even if it was a lower pay.

      +Don Chills if i remember correctly, Rockets gave him a 20m contract and the knicks didnt want to offer on it. i think idk

    • @aww773
      @aww773 8 лет назад +7

      He's playing one of the most competitive positions on the court and had been cut a couple times before getting on board with the Knicks, initially on a non guaranteed 15 day contract. It wasn't like he had a huge reserve of money on hand. I absolutely do not blame him for chasing the dough. The fact he's still on an active roster at the pg position after 7 seasons is all the proof you need that he's a legit NBA player.

    • @hmoobmeeka
      @hmoobmeeka 8 лет назад +12

      the Knicks didn't offer him a contract and told him to test the market. he did that and the Rockets were the only team to offer him a contract and the Knicks didn't match the Rockets offer.
