  • The New York Knicks take on the Cleveland Cavaliers at Madison Square Garden. The Knicks managed to take a win from the Cavaliers as the Knicks overtook the second half of the game by storm. The highlight of the game was the bench players lighting up the court. Jeremy Lin still had a solid game leading to the end.

    I miss these Knicks.
    Solid PG in Lin.
    Great C in Chandler
    Great SF in Melo
    Decent PF in Stat
    Decent SG in Shump
JR as their 6th man and Novak coming off the bench killing it with the 3's.
Most fun Knicks team to watch in the last decade.

@@kennethchu909 you took the words right out of my mouth, I’ve never seen a point guard clicked with a team so fast that he made a huge impact when he was inserted into the starting line up. The problem was Melo I’m sorry but I’ve never liked him and would never would want him in my team he cries too much and is such a ball hog does he make an team better sure he does but if you were to tell me to choose I’d rather choose Lin all day not sure what the hell he did to deserve for the Knicks to get rid of him SMH 🤦‍♂️

Here in 2021. As we all know by now, the Knicks could not match Rockets offer to Lin. It's Dolan's fault, he told Lin he can shop around for a new team at end of season. Dolan should have stayed quiet. Let Jeremy heal from surgery & bring him back next season as a Knick. But we all know things started to fall apart way before that. Coach Mike quitting was a big sign that it was over for Lin to stay in NY.

This Knickerbocker team was on a roll. Melo, Amare, Smith, Kovak, Lin, Shumphert, Chandler, etc. They were outrunning and outscoring most teams around the league. They had an excellent chemistry here. Why would Knicks management break up this team? IF IT AIN'T BROKE, DON'T TRY TO FIX IT!

it came down to a salary cap issue.. The contract that Lin or his agent wrote up would put the Knicks over the salary cap. The Knicks were still paying top dollar to Stoutamire and Melo. This team finally had a point guard that could orchestrate the Knicks offense, there was great chemistry among the players with JLin in the line up. Melo didn't run Lin out. It was supposed to be Stoutamire being the superstar and Melo playing support. Then Stoutamire got injured and proved to be a bust.. Now everyone looking to Melo to carry the team. The Knicks front office failed to get another superstar in NY, fans and media put the blame on Melo. Just like they put the blame on Ewing for not bringing a championship to NY.

Exactly! He worked hard to get where hes at right now, certainly deserved his money. It is the double standard that irks me. I don't mean to disrespect Kyrie Erving but damn people gotta be real and honest, admit that Lin have just as much of potential as the last two number 1 draft pick PG. NBA scouts themselves need to admit that they count on physical qualities too much. Lin have superior mental qualities and work ethic compared with majority of NBA players.

The best thing to happen to the Knicks since Ewing, Alan Houston John Starks days.
He was masterful in the pick and roll and made offensive stars of players like Chandler,
Novak, Landry Fields he had the whole Knicks team DOMINATING the league almost.
Even had Knicks and Madison Square Garden Stocks soaring in profits. Go ask Carmelo
how he was able to convince the owner of the team to put him on the market for best offers
when the Knicks could of had him for $1-2M a year and Lin had to accept. Truth will come out
books will be written and movies will be made and Carmelo Anthony will not be very happy of his
portrayal it happened in New York the entertainment capital of the world, and he will have to explain
to his children why he did that.
