- The New York Knicks challenge the Boston Celtics at TD Garden to compete for the top spot in the Atlantic Division and the higher ranks within the Eastern Conference in the NBA season. Jeremy Lin had foul and turnover trouble in this game, but he still managed to play hard and persevere. The game was very close as it went into overtime, but the Celtics managed to take the win over what was a solid basketball game from both teams.
4:18 Oh my goodness Rondo, 17 pts, 15 rebs, and 20 asts
BruhderJp oh wow
Bru
that used to be a regular for him…rondo was a top 3-4 point guard from 2009 to 2012 behind D Rose CP3 and switchable w/ D Will
Those knicks unis were clean
pretty clear that linsanity ended when melo came back....
sydandtaytum wrong miami heat with lebron ended that shit and thats a fact
Y’all sound stupid thinking Melo should have deferred to Jeremy Lin.
I think teams now scout and have a game plan for Lin that's why he kinda struggled but melo might have some effect also
@@therockobama3018
What team did not ended by Miami in that time?
I agree melo is jealous hahahaha
I LOVE rajon rond and jlin.. theyre just so unselfish and wants to help their teams win... like 80% of the starting point men in the NBA.
2:07 WTF?
Can't throw that elbow out to ward off the defender.
@@JohnDoe113 ... It's just one of those natural instinctive reactions. You just have to remember not to keep doing that to satisfy the rule books.
Imagine if Lin would have stayed when Jason Kidd and Mike Woodson were there.
lol at the guy at 3:08 furiously motioning for a travel
Lin got 2 fouls too quickly in the first quarter.
I love how it's "The Jeremy Lin Show" but then i seen Rondo's stats at 4:19 lol
not hating on the Knicks, I'm actually a Knicks fan myself
This is the underrated start of Linsanity.
Linsanity ended by unfriendly call
It's Jeremy Lin Show because the channel or video is dedicated to Lin fans not Rondo..
I was screaming loud this game, so pissed they lost..
It was an offensive foul because he cleared out with his left arm. It had nothing to do with where the defender was standing.
@AZNNINJA247 he held out his arm to protect himself which is considered an offensive foul.
ty!
That sucks. Every time Lin is playing, he does awesome but it's always just short of a win.
It's a team sport, so it's a team effort. As a Lin fan, this was one of those close calls. Celtics just happened to be a little better here overall than the Knicks.
Lin is not a PG, he is a SG, but he is thin and small for that position.
u are braindead
Rondo with 15 rebs and 20 asts lol
its cause of the push off with the forearm dude lol
exactly..idiot ref ignores body collision =block
Lin's first 2 fouls were too quick, that disrupted his rhythm.
exactly!!
nice game..
Linsanity ended when Dolan didn't want to match the Rocket's offer. A chinese-american, Harvard-educated with an unequal charisma and humbleness singled handedly galvanized NY and the league. Pity that jealousy and a penny-pincher owner screwed everything up. Happy to know that Lin got his ring.
I mean let’s not be foolish , the 54 win team was the following year …. D’antoni done had left his position which where Lin thrived in i dont think Lin in Woodsons offense would’ve been that great but yes we all would’ve loved Lin back
@ThePHiLsTeR ... Here in early 2022. I agree, Lin still has an NBA chip on his shoulder. He was actually fine with the Raptor championship until haters & critiques pointed out that he wasn't involved that much, not just in the playoffs but also in regulation. That was one reason for his infamous tears at the pulpit. However, one thing the critics did not bother to mention was in the 75-year lifetime of the NBA, & the ABA before that, there were plenty of players over those 75 years that were benched the whole time or did little contribution. Seventy-Five. And Jeremy came into the Raptors mid-season (January-February, I think). It may have worked out mid-season with the 2012 Knicks, but not with the Raptors, as they already had other stars that had more playing time & the gameplay strats with Nurse just did not fit as it might have had with D'Antoni. Plus he was still feeling both the physical & psychological effects from his major injury a couple years earlier with the Nets. He had great run-start metrics & now it's slightly slower, after the injury. As for his NBA minor league stint last year, from what I read, going into G-league was actually because of some paperwork & timing issues. If that is so, had the paperwork & legal issues (something to also do with China league as well) were done right, he would have been back in the A-league where he should have belonged. But he swallowed his ego & went to minor league, where he had been there a few times in the past, as the NBA feels more like home for him. He is U.S.-born (American) after all. Time is now his main enemy.
@@HELPINGHAND03 ... Imagine if Lin was part of that 54-team win. I agree, Woodson would not have been a good match for him. But that was just part of the overall equation. I think Melo returning from his injury may have been a part of slightly breaking that equation. According to Lin, the 2016 Hornets stint was where he enjoyed NBA the most, even compared to 2012 Linsanity.
shouldnt this be called the rajon rondo show? 18 pts, 20 asts, 17 rebounds.
how?
Is it just me or does Shumpert seem to play better with Jeremy Lin🤔
why does his former coach look so pissed after he nailed that 3....:S
I know I am 6 years late lol but it's because Amaker is a Celtics fan
nope. he stiff armed keyon dooling. text book offensive foul
but 44 was in the restricted area...
This is not a Jeremy Lin show. About half of the stuff are shots made by other players with little to no help from Lin.
look at 2:16, that was not an offensive foul, that should have been and 1 but the referee was racist.
4:18
rondo is the best
He traveled that first shot but we still love him.
There was no travel on the first shot
it's not a travel you dont hoop fr
