Every person who is addicted to any substance(s) or habit began by making a CHOICE to take that substance or perform that action. That choice soon becomes an addictive craving that leaves the victim no longer able to choose to say no to the substance or habit. This is true of alcohol, drugs, pornography, sex, eating disorders, electronic use, or dozens of others addictive disorders. It is so important that children be supervised and monitored through their early/teen years, have positive role models to provide examples of healthy self-care, and emotionally healthy adults in their lives they can go to and depend on when they have need. JMHO
