But I have said many times to various people that ALL recent high school graduates, or those who have dropped out before graduation, should perform some type of public service for at least three years. Exceptions can be made for those with certain health issues. These men and women will go into the military, Peace Corps, US Park Service, etc. Here they will learn personal discipline, how to work with others who never grew up in the same neighborhood, earn some money that is their’s, learn personal responsibility, and hopefully, learn how our form of government is supposed to work. In return for their service to our country they will receive assistance to attend college or Career Tech and learn the skills needed to earn a better life for themselves and their loved ones.

She was still alive. he called it in. six minutes until paramedics. He felt she wouldn't last so he scooped her up and put her in his car and floored it to the hospital. He talked to her the whole time but she left on the way. Im glad she didn't leave alone in that grass.

...and no one talked about that she laid there in the grass bleeding out for 20 min until her watch went off and that took a car another ten minutes to get over there and this cop went out of his way to answer that call, arrived there, didn't see anyone, got out with his flashlight and just happened to look down. She was still alive. he called it in. six minutes until paramedics. He felt she wouldn't last so he scooped her up and put her in his car and floored it to the hospital. He talked to her the whole time but she left on the way. Im glad she didn't leave alone in that grass.
