This is just like the season 2 episode where she got pulled over for drunk driving and George had to bail her out, and then it turned out she had actually been covering for Georgie who was driving without a license. Although the reason he had to drive was because she was drunk, so it was still ultimately her fault.

My favorite part of this episode was when Sheldon finally dressed up like he does in the big bang theory. Such a wonderful connection and it will be awesome seeing Sheldon like that in Season 6. As for why Georgie and Connie got arrested, I have no clue. My guess is that Connie had a bunch of alcoholic beverages in her car, and upon being inspected by border control, they both got arrested. For now, the only logical reason I can think of is that they got accused of smuggling something across the border. I cannot think of any other reasons for being arrested. I was surprised to learn that the school planned to lay off George due to the boosters being unhappy with his team's performance, not because of his son getting a girl pregnant. In a small town like Medford, that would damage the reputation of a business. After all, Pastor Jeff sent Mary on "a leave of absence" due to her son being Pregnant, and that not representing the ideal Christian mother. Also, the episode recap at the start confirmed that pastor Jeff did in fact, lay off Mary. The recap showed George asking if Jeff is firing Mary, then it cut to pastor Rob asking if that's really necessary, and Jeff replied with "I believe it is." In the recap, there was no mention of it being "just a little leave of absence," which confirms that he did in fact fire Mary.
