Love it! Very inspirational, thank you for sharing
Thank you Andre! Appreciate your comment!
nice, trick with crappy super glue, add baking powder, sprinkle powder and crazy glue, it takes a few tries to get it good, it will bond super fast, not a lot of time to play around lol, trick from the neightbord
Thanks for sharing!
Your videos really inspire me!!! Thank you so much for making them and taking the time to describe your process. Gives me insights I can follow and make my own workflow.
Thank you! Really happy to hear that!

Hey boss one quick question. What's your infill when you print these model?
@@MichaelV-ii7mw it depends. Usually for stuff that‘s the size of this Hulk I would not go over ~20%. For large bases I even go down to 2%
@@evolutionxstudios thanks! I guess I'm using to much infill 😅😅 appreciate it
Super Video!
Can't wait for the next video man. I was wondering how do you determine the scale of a model? Would a 1/4 scale be 1/4 the height of a character or the height of a person?
Thanks buddy! It will be online in a week or two! Always the character's real height. So for this guy I googled how tall Hulk is supposed to be in real life and then divided that by four.
Question... Did you use the auto generated support? Is that better than the new tree support?
I used the auto one, tree support didn't exist back then. But nowadays I also use tree supports
how do you know what size of like arm or leg to print when youre printing them separately bc im wondering what if i somehow print the other part smaller than it should be
The premise is that in the beginning all the parts fit together with the scale the model comes in. So if you manually change the scale of one part, you need to scale all of them with the respective scale factor.
Out of curiosity, would a resin printer be able to do this better?? I’m new to 3D printing
Definitely! But I didn’t have one back then. And the size of this statue also was way too big for the regular resin printer sizes that were available at this time
@@evolutionxstudios ok fair enough, is it possible to do resin in sections and connect em? Also time did this take over all? It looks absolutely fantastic
@@lancemiranda1765 thanks mate! That's possible of course. However each part will create seam lines that have to be taken care of. I can't really tell you. I would guess for the complete post processing maybe 30 ish hours?
What fdm printer are you using?
This one was printed with an Ender 3 Pro. Now I upgraded to a CR10S Pro V2
What brand and type of paint are you using?
Vallejo acrylics. If you watch some of my new videos I show every bottle I use
Lovely 😍💋 💝💖❤️
Change the music, please!!!
Dude if I could I would not only change the music in this video but the whole audio
This is waaaay too much work. Is there no faster way ? What about using PU varnish for small imperfections and to get rid of layer lines ? Or what about UV Resin to fill in some gaps etc. there must be a better way, this is way to labor intensive.
I mean sure the model looks good afterwards but it also took this dude like weeks to get it to that point and it has lost most details along the way.
Uv resin, pu varnish, spray filler. It‘s all the same principle and all of them will blur out the details a bit
@@evolutionxstudios Sure but there is a pretty big difference between Putty and PU varnish or Spray filler in that regard. There is also a difference in how fast you can apply something evenly, how fast it dries and how messy it gets. Lastly there is also the possibility to automatically polish something which will remove some of they stuff you have added automatically and safe time. I just can´t believe that this process is so laboe intensive, there has to be a better way. I love models but I would never sit there and sand 10 parts of a model for 3 days or so.
@@sierraecho884 yeah but pu varnish and resin sounds pretty messy to me, whereas spray filler automatically puts on that even coat. The fastest way would be to use a resin printer instead of an FDM printer though :D
@@evolutionxstudios PU varnish is less messy since you can apply it with a brush indoors instead of a spray. Does not mean it has to be your prefered way it´s just different for people who don´t like to use sprays like me.
It´s true the resin printer is a better choice detail wise however it´s a whole pain in the ass with the VOC´s the cleaning the mess more hazard needs way more space etc.
@@evolutionxstudios Here is some other idea I really liked.
