What an awesome model. Incredible how rich in detail it is! Interesting to see how well those CR printers are working together when it comes to scales. It didn’t seem that you had any problems with those snap fit connections at all. And the surface of those prints just look amazing. You didn’t do any sanding at all, did you?

Another great print. I love it! When you give the layer height, I always am wondering what your print speed is also. If you could throw that in next time that would be awesome. Keep up the good work brother!

How did you fixed the clogged
A bunch of cold pulls - heat up the extruder to 220... shove in some filament... set the temp to 80... when it gets to about 90 degrees... yank the filament out. I did it a few times in a row. Next up im swapping out all of the teflon tubes

What kind of glue and paint do you use, for 3d printed parts?
How much do you think this cost in total to print? Trying to way up the cost to buy statues or print my own. Thanks

kazolar Forever! Has to be around 100+ hours.
It was a lot. easily over 100 hours. I think the Base was 50+, Upper bust was 30+, Torso 30+, Legs might have been 20 or so and the hands/weapons were about 12 hours around 150hours
+Uncle Jessy Came out really well. worth finishing it...I would...my OCD would force me to finish it because of that skipped step line, -- if you said nothing about it...not sure if I have noticed, but after you pointed it out...can't not see it. Plus an excuse to use my airbrush kit . If you like the stone gray look, you can finish it to look like a statue too...do the filer, sand, primer stuff, and then make it look like real stone...granite, or marble -- kinda cool idea. I hate long prints -- hence I got some large format machines with volcano hotends and larger nozzles, but you lose detail...so sometimes you gotta go with it. Makes me wanna get back to Z-Brush and do some sculpting...

Great video and the model came out beautiful. But why you don't want to paint it is beyond me. It looks unfinished. At least paint it with different shades of grey to give it more of a statue look.. food for thought lol. I shall be subscribing!
