This is impressive work and information, I don't have a 3D Resin Printer but seeing the passion you have for this hobby and how you share it with the community is a indication that you sir are truly a master and a teacher. Had to give you a heck of a Thumbs Up plus you got one more Sub. Happy Printing !
Great video, have you given any thought to doing a series showing how you build a print from start to finish? That way you could cover all the aspects of building & painting.
@@TheCreativeCollector That would be awesome to watch. You could do a weekly chapter from prep to final reveal. That way there more time to show specifics on each portion of the build. Thoughts?
Great video. Was looking for something like this. Keep up the great work. Do you have any video on: 1. how to place the supports? 2. Supports settings? 3. Any suggestions on how to print and get good gaps? My prints no matter what I do my gaps are bad and then I have to use fillers (tons of fuller). Your support are none damaging. Where can I buy that punisher file?
Supports...not yet. I do have a video or two on gaps and how to prevent it. Look it up in the video library. And the Punisher file is from Doses3D. There's a link in the video description.
Great content, thank you for your vids. I do have a concern though. What is the current information on dust from sanding resin printed models? Can it cause serious health problems? Should you wear a mask and do the sanding outside? Can the dust be especially harmful to children? Thanks for any light you can shed on these concerns. All the best.
Hello mate interested in the g tool but where/what pads do I need for it? There is sooo many to choose from. Can you give us a link. I'm new to all this. Apologies. 😂🎉
Hey! I am thankful for your tips you have showed me, but how can I better apply primer to my models. I use a rattle can as well and right now I just lay the pieces of the model down on some cardboard and spray them with primer, but then I have to wait for it to dry to flip over and do the backside. Is there a better way I can apply the primer?
What do you do when textured surfaces have obvious blemishes? Asking because I bought a resin 3d print which has a sequin-like pattern that has some blemishes on it.
A lot of times I use Aves Apoxy to sculpt the part if it needs it or I use my rotary tool to try and sand it after I fill it. It takes time, especially if it's a well detailed piece.
@TheCreativeCollector thanks! I guess another part of the solution would have been to buy a print on a larger scale, since I feel that the textured surfaces are too tiny for me to repair them by hand. Still, I'll give it a try, since I need the practice!
Stay away from wood filler. Water based, high shrink rate & adhesion issues long term. Get a good filler primer like upol or bondo. For heavier defects reduce bondo putty or upol putty with acetone & brush it on.
@@TheCreativeCollector thanks. I am just starting with multi piece resin models. I have ld-002r so things are small. Been watching all your videos they are super helpful. Keep up the great videos
Primer allows to paint to grab onto the model plus it covers minor imperfections. If you paint with no primer, expect the paint to come off easy in some cases or the paint may bubble or just not stick to the model.

I use white primer just finished Joker looks great I leave primer on until it dries I have used alot of your tips TY
Great video...gtool looks like a finger saving game changer.
Man...this thing has made my life so much easier. lol
I use my G tool with other sandpaper grit I just cut some sandpaper and two sided tape and it works great
Thank this is a fascinating topic . I would like to get into this but just trying to figure where to start

Thats exactly what I had in mind when I did this video. I wanted to see the reception of it first and if it helps anyone.
@@TheCreativeCollector That would be awesome to watch. You could do a weekly chapter from prep to final reveal. That way there more time to show specifics on each portion of the build. Thoughts?
Thats what I was thinking. hopefully I can work it out to where I can start doing a series like this.
Your video helped me so much thank you! About to use your GTool link now!
That's awesome! You will love that Gtool.
Thanks man this was really helpful.
Glad it helped
Wow, thanks for all the tips, it seems like a ton of work brother!

your tips are awesome ty!!! keep up the great job!
Thank you! Will do!
Why don’t you have any pits from support removal ? Or do you fill them in ?
They have some, but not many because of my support settings. I usually just have to lightly sand them off.
@@TheCreativeCollector that’s awesome you got a website I can find your settings at ?
I'm working on a site now but you can message me on Instagram if you want.
@@TheCreativeCollector sweet thanks man check your DM’s I sent you a message

Definitely wear a mask as with any kind of sanding. You just wanna be safe.
Learned a lot thanks! I would think a warm soapy wash w toothbrush would be best for complete dust removal prior to priming right?
Either that or a stiff brush or canned air.

Sure. Usually there is a link or description along with the Gtool. I might have a link along in my description of the videos.

You can use alligator clips with skewers to hold them upright. I use those a lot!
@@TheCreativeCollector Thanks for the info, I tried them out and they work great!
Very interesting 👌 I love your punisher prints!
Glad you like them!
Amazing video 👏👏👏👏 you are the best
Thank you so much 😀
Can you please let me know where that Stormshadow file came from? Great looking piece.

Thanks for the advise. Can you leave a li k to where you got the G tool?
The link is in the video description
i cannot find that g tool and replacement pads anywhere. Would a regular mini rotary tool work?
It's sold out and discontinued now. A rotary tool would be fine
Great model and thanks for the tips. What printer was this done with?
Thanks. I printed this one on the Anycubic Photon mono X and the base was printed on the M3 Max

Thanks but I've been using this plastic wood filler for several years and it hasn't failed me yet.
Would wet sanding also work?
Absolutely
Hey buddy, as always a great video! can i ask, what scale percentage did you use in the slicer?
I believe it was 160%
@@TheCreativeCollector Hey, thanks for the reply! i went with 150% and wow! looking good so far and its huge!! :)
Great tips mate!
How many printers are you running now?
I'm running 11 now.
Hi Thanks for sharing this and many other tips. Does it matters the primer color? Grey is twice as expensive than "reddish"or white
I just use grey because it's easier for me to identify flaws and details
@@TheCreativeCollector Thank you for clarify that!!
Which glue do you use to put parts together?
I use a 2 part epoxy from BSI Industries
@@TheCreativeCollector thank you.
What resin do you use to get the highest print quality for 8k prints?
This model looks awesome with the details!!!
I use just Sunlu and /or Elegoo standard grey resin. Nothing fancy. It all depends on your settings.
@@TheCreativeCollector ill search for any videos that you have up loaded
What pads are you using for the gtool?
There's a variety pack that's sold seperate with it
@@TheCreativeCollector what grit are those pads you're using on it to have the smooth finish on it, is it the 1000 grit pads?
@Erick-gx8qu yes
@@TheCreativeCollector Thank you
do you spray the guns then glue them on .
or put it all together and prime and paint ?
I usually paint the parts separate on a model like this.
Was trying to find these STL but the link isn't working
The artist doesn't have his patreon anymore
how are you joining the models together? glue, resin?
I use a 2 part epoxy resin. For tiny parts I use super glue with an accelerant.
@@TheCreativeCollector thanks. I am just starting with multi piece resin models. I have ld-002r so things are small. Been watching all your videos they are super helpful. Keep up the great videos
Do you use anything to cure the inside of the hollow prints?
Yes. I use small UV lights. Just stick them up inside the drain holes for a bit.
Which slicer do you use?
Chitubox
Hey , Why do you use primer ? why I cant just make paint very thin and airbrush gray before i paint with color ? what makes primer better than paint?
Primer allows to paint to grab onto the model plus it covers minor imperfections. If you paint with no primer, expect the paint to come off easy in some cases or the paint may bubble or just not stick to the model.
Do you let each coat of primer dry for 24hrs
Usually yes
I don't find where i buy this Punisher version.
Doses3d
@@TheCreativeCollector thank you for the TIPS and your time. The video that you post are more interesting and increase skills and inspirations.
Dry times?
For full primer I let sit for 24 hours. Just for good adhesion.
gibt es auch einen link zur stl datei?
I believe it's in the description. If not look for Doses3d on Instagram and Facebook
What printer do you use??
I use several. I have 15
Is this model still available?
Check the link in the description. It comes from Doses3D. As far as I know its still available.
I sent a dm on patreon
My discord link isn't working for some reason
Ok. I'll resend it
