Hi from Puerto Rico Boss, what printers do you have..???? I’m new to 3D print, but with work like this…!!!!! I want know all I can….. AWESOME WORK…… OMG 😱!!!!!!!!
Your work and painting is amazing! The only thing I would’ve done differently is a softer white for the eyes, it pops a little too much in contrast with the purple skin and blueness of the eyes
I've been looking for some short "how to paint 3d prints" but stumbled upon this masterpiece and I absolutely love it! Fascinating work sir, great job.
Stian Buland Lie Tusen takk😁 Perfectly balanced huh....I got that one right away👏🏻🤣😅 Good one! Seriosly, thank you for the kind words😁 Have a great one Sir, cheers
Wow 4 months I can see .. besides the size of this peice .. sanding each one gently for days .. this guy takes him time each skull showing different damage from battles so cool this guy is blessed by Jesus very talented 👍🙂
very nice. one bit of advice is that I would have saved the " dust " from sanding the clay to add as a type of texture layer. I do this with a lot of the miniatures that I paint. Personal opinion there but I think it adds a nice touch to the terrain aspect of the bases. But all in all very nice work there my friend looks really good.
Hello there Mr. DarkWolf. Makers gonna share, love it! Thats a great advise! I knew what you meant right away. And I will definitely try it out on my next build:) Thank you Sir, have a great evening. Cheers
Dude, waiting for paint to cure is my motto at the moment. I've messed up my paint so many times not waiting for varnish, acrylics, oils, and inks to fully dry. I wait many hours an day if needed.
Awesome work! Makes me want to buy a resin printer. Only critique, this video had way too many ads that drastically took away from enjoying your content. Not sure if you determined how many ads are display or RUclips did but felt like there was an ad every 5 minutes.
Thank you so much Mr. Nguyen😁 Yes, a resin printer really does the job. And thank you for that feedback😉 I’v only just last week started with the ad’s. Its just default settings....put now I do belive I gotta look ito that🧐 Will fix👌🏻 Thanks again, have a good one. Cheers
I love the idea of using oil paints! Never really thought about it but wow! Will apply it on my next build! Thank you so much for this video! It's very educational!
Thank you so much Mr. Nitrus:) You're to kind;) And yes, undercoats can be tricky, for sure. But just keep doing the stuff you like, and you'll get there no problem:) Have a great day, cheers

Don't forget the green/purple washes in between highlights and weathering to make it pop. Edit2- double thumbs up for the white washes. I see so few folk use them. I use an acrylic ink or a vinyl white paint.
I have been making model for 25 years and did some of the work on the Star Trek Experience in Vegas. I absolutely loved the techniques you used and inspired me to build this amazing model. However, I’m the type of guy that’s go big or go home so I printed him at 250% all resin except the base which is my last piece to print. I moved to Colombia where I met my wife and it’s incredibly difficult to get supplies here, but I manage. It took 7 months in customs to get me Phenom L here and I just ordered the XXL I am sure that will be a nightmare. You have great taken and I h e been wanting to start a channel and after seeing your videos, Uncle Jessy, and others I have decided to do it. So I’m slowly building up my printing. All you guys rock!!! Uncle Jessy and you have been very instrumental in my decisions Thank you Dave
After watching I bought myself a resin and fdm printer with the hopes that in time I can print and paint something like thi. Incredible detail and easy to digest tips on how to paint
Wow, thank you for that😁 And down worry about having to learn. I’ve been doing painting, drawing, sculpting and such since I was a child in the 80’s. And I’m still learning stuff with each build😉 That’s just a part of it, and equally fun😁 Hope you stick with it, and find much pleasure in you’re sculpting👌 Have a good one, cheers😉
This is amazing. The detail is incredible. I only wish I could learn to paint this good. The depth is fantastic. The green masking is definitely satisfying!
Just amazing. Love how u explain your process. Now I just have to figure out the %s to size the helmet to 1/6 or 1/4 scale to fit whatever size I print. This is the biggest struggle for me.
This sculpt is Amazing! That said, and I swear I'm not tryin to be a dick by sayin this. Could you Please change the eye direction towards the end of his blade? You don't have him looking where he's pointing and because of that, it looks off.
Thank you so much Mr. Trevor:) You definitely need some patience to go all the way on a prop this big, so I am glad to hear it:)! Have a great day, cheers
I wasn't even thinking of Marquette's when I just ordered my first 3D printer but they look like an easy and relaxing project for a first real print after I get my test prints done.
You definitely should be proud of this! I use to love painting figurines as a child and went down the product design route. So I’m so familiar with all the techniques used in this video! I just don’t have any time now to do any of this maybe once my children are older and in school I’ll get back into this! Absolutely amazing video and definitely subscribed! Well done man!

I just painted my 1st 3D Print model and I learned that it's a all in the prep and sanding. I just used brushed acrylic and wasn't as happy. will have to try getting into airbrushing next too.
Congrats with that Mr. Wong! 3d printing, model painting and prop making etc. Its all a steep, but amazingly fun learning process. Good luck with airbrushing. Have a great day, cheers
Yeah, with my FDM prints I use an airbrush just helps with the layer lines... I just printed and painted a Kraken in 3 days for our d&d group, video will be up next week once edited.

the "freckling" is actually called flecking when you turn the pressure down and the paint flecks out. theres a machine,or pressurised paint pot, called a port-a-fleck which allows you to achieve very high pressure flecks for thicker paints to add texture too the flecks. hope this adds to your skill set as your very talented already!

Absolutely incredible! A lot of work! A lot of passion! If there is one thing that looks odd to me (maybe it's just the video) is that the armor doesn't look solid enough. It looks like foam. It looks like Thanos is cosplaying himself.
Hello there. Thank you so much:) And yes, the shoulders might be a little to round. Maybe the style of the 3d designer? But other then that, it looks good for a figurine. Have a good one, cheers

Phenomenal! Your creativity and talent are off the charts dude! I learned so much watching this video, love the liquid mask, i just bought something similar for doing model aircraft but haven't tried it yet. Now I'm going to give it a whirl. Is this Thanos an STL you made or purchased?
I think the eyes should be looking towards the direction that his sword is pointing, I think it will make the pose more threatening:) other than the eyes this is perfect:D
You should sell these on etsy or at least the printouts I would definitely purchase for a man cave and try to paint myself. Keep up the good work man your patience and time payed off forsure.
Cody Hello there Mr. Cody. Jepp, to much stuff on the my shelvs now. Putting up an Etsy shop soon for sure. And thank you for the kind feedback😁 Have a great one, cheers
It looks great! To your comment "don't be afraid to take it further." I must add "but know when to stop!" In my experience, a good lesson to learn is to know when to stop. Many an art piece has been ruined by not knowing when to stop.
after applying the black basecoat prior to the alclad if you had applied a clear gloss coat the metal effect on his armour would be so much more realistic and reflective alclads are a difficult medium to apply correctly its very important to prepare them as suggested in the instructions , wonderful model, loved the video,
Amazing! I airbrush on sneakers and leather jackets but this is insane.. looks like a harder & steenbeck airbrush if im not wrong! Loved to watch this!
Thank you for that Sir:) Jepp, so much more I wanna make. And with a Bigger resin printer on the way....means no more sanding = equals = More Video builds. Have a good one Mr. Hellrainbow

You can make your own liquid mask by mixing dishwashing detergent and Elmers glue. I've used this method many a long time and it works great.

About a 50:50 mix. Just play with it, it's really pretty simple.

I've had great success with automotive filler primer to hide my layer lines on fdm prints.
Thank you Sir. I appreciate that:) And thank you for the tip. I'll see if I can get ahold of some. Have a good one Mr. King, cheers
A Masterpiece wow this look like it came from sideshow or marvel license figure statue... awesome work i just subscribed...
Awsome job on the paint...im going to try this model once I get my bigger printer
Thank you Mr. R.C. Gamer:) God luck with ur build once the new bigger printer comes in:) Cheers
It looks great! To your comment "don't be afraid to take it further." I must add "but know when to stop!" In my experience, a good lesson to learn is to know when to stop. Many an art piece has been ruined by not knowing when to stop.
after applying the black basecoat prior to the alclad if you had applied a clear gloss coat the metal effect on his armour would be so much more realistic and reflective alclads are a difficult medium to apply correctly its very important to prepare them as suggested in the instructions , wonderful model, loved the video,
Eres un artista amigo felicidades que gran trabajo!
Amazing! I airbrush on sneakers and leather jackets but this is insane.. looks like a harder & steenbeck airbrush if im not wrong!

Thank you for that Sir:) Jepp, so much more I wanna make. And with a Bigger resin printer on the way....means no more sanding = equals = More Video builds. Have a good one Mr. Hellrainbow
@@PropsNstuff good to know! I am a senior 3d character artist and 3d print hobbist. Your pipeline is clearly the dream for me since you make it full circle any chance you focus more on the 3d printing part and mainly the mixed of PLA/FDM/SLA all the difference and constrain to fit all parts together(srinkage if any) how well paint stick to it. And last the material brands and type like the clay you used for Thanos base and liquid masking brand. Big thanks!
