      A local vegetarian restaurant uses multiple mushrooms for a bulgogi dish. The types depend on what is available. They even use the wildcrafted mushroom from this area (Pacific Northwest); morels, hens of the woods, chanterelles, etc.

      @@elenabrezinskaya7677 Yes. Besides, for me, I like to airfry, bake, or fry mine in either my airfrying oven or just panfry them on my pan with some small amounts of oil.I absolutely love how it retains the crunchy and chewy texture when absorbing the sauce

    Five days ago, there were 2 big earthquakes in my country and there are 20 thousand dead and thousands of people are still under the rubble.     I'm going to make this soon! I just bought a lot of beef at Costco, so I'll make some to eat right away and put some marinated meat in the freezer for easy bulgogi in the future :) Thanks always Maangchi!

    I love your videos Maangchi! ❤️ I will make this. It’s interesting how many Koreans prefer to wrap garlic and chili peppers raw with bbq. I like to toss the chili peppers and garlic on the bbq first and cook them but I’m American. Maybe raw tastes better? 😊

      its a different flavor for sure! cooked garlic tastes a lot more mild, while raw is a lot more of a kick :)

      Koreans will put garlic slices on the grill as well. I know, I’m Korean. Just taste preference.

    What kind of pan are you using to cook the meat? Does it come with the burner?

    Just FYI, if you want sliced NY steak (as shown), my local Costco has sliced NY steaks in packages at the same price as regular steaks. While it's very good meat (choice, and very good quality vs chain supermarket choice), the packages ae somewhat large (it's Costco after all). I guess you can freeze it for the following week/future recipe.
