My husband was stationed in Korea over thirty years ago and he absolutely loves Korean food. I have searched for authentic Korean recipes to make for him without any luck until I foundJia's you tube video. I made this Bulgogi for him and he said that it was like he was still in Korea, it was exactly like he remembered it tasting. Thank You Jia for helping me to create this amazing dish for my husband. I will definitely continue to watch your videos and recreate the meals that you making. Your instructions are very easy to follow. Thank you !!

It's so nice to watch a video by a Korean chef who is not trying to be cutesy or cracking jokes every minute in order to earn "Likes". I'm sure you guys know which chefs I'm referring to.
How refreshing to come back to a chef just teaching the basics of Korean cooking without gimmicks, one-liners or special effects ! This is the way cooking is meant to be taught.

I love Bolgogi and have made it before. It was absolutely delicious and tasted just like the Korean BBQ I visited here in Baltimore, Maryland. I love to cook and I am glad this video popped up. The recipe I made was from Aaron and Claire here on RUclips. It made like 10 servings so now with your recipe for 1 to 2 servings, it will be nice to not have so much sauce leftover but I did freeze it and will make with chicken soon. Thank you for this video and I will be cooking more with you in the future. 💜

I don't normally pay much attention to presentation of the meal, but when I'm served a dish that's 99% tasty meat ... mmm there's nothing better! :)

If you like raw beef tartare or similar, you should try Korean "yukhoe" (육회).
It's raw beef with sesame oil, garlic, green onions, soy sauce, sugar, on a bed of sliced Asian pear, and topped with raw egg yolk. You stir it all together and it the beef raw. I promise you it's AMAZING!!!
