The time it takes to pry open, it cools down a bit, that's where I like using a heat gun. You can quickly turn that on, heat it up a bit and pry it open still, instead of going back to the oven with a partially opened headlight.
There's different ways to do it. The basic premise is to heat up that butyl. Some don't have a heat gun, some don't have a oven. Or if you're opening really big headlight, this method won't work because the headlight will not physically fit in the oven. I've done both ways, oven method is still my preference
I cooked mines on 300 degrees Fahrenheit for 15mins, and it comes off sooooooo easily and then I didnt even scrub off the old silicone, I just reheated the headlight again and reattached it.
Swapping the headlights is easy. The harder part is wiring the different socket bulbs. Also, the 04-06 TL turn signal bulbs are different than 07-08 type S. I just bought the right sockets and tapped them to the correct wires
Most definitely will. I already filmed everything, just need to edit. Pretty easy to reseal headlights and there are plenty of videos out there regarding this.
TheCarFiend nice i ask because i messed my headlights up theres a huge gap on the entire edges of the headlight when i baked it it would not go any farther in
@@thecarfiend11 That's awesome man! Yeah that is spot on 😂. i rarely see other 3rd gens around here, and when i do, they are unmodified and being driven by a non enthusiast lol

You can do it at a higher temp. I'd just recommend 220 for safety and less risk of any damage
Will baking the headlight change the colour of the reflector to white?
no
Is it okay to get a 08 headlight and put it on my 05 Acura TL?
It bolts on but there are slight differences. 04-05 have different HID ballasts. If they are Type S headlights, they have different turn signals.
Good job! ey what about the signal light bulb did you have changed it with orange flash of light?
I think legally, you have to have Amber bulbs. But I currently have switchbacks
Yo bro please show me how to put type s Headlights

And what’s the correct sockets ?
You should do a reinstall of the headlights
