A nice product review with examples. I own Lyras, but haven't used them. I really like the lake painting. I appreciate not having music in the background.
I always tell myself “Whatever happens, it’s just learning and information” because it’s true. I hope you enjoy the process. 😊 thanks for watching and commenting, Wendy
You continue to encourage your audience in such a way that one can’t possibly be intimidated with moving forward to create something fun and rewarding. Thanks for another great video.
Marabeth, I dont understand what you are saying about just making marks or being random. But your work is very compelling, so I'm going to keep watching.
When I say random marks, I mean just making marks that you have no intention for-they aren’t to represent anything or even meant to be visible in the final painting. You’re just playing really.
Hi Teri! If it's a painting on paper, you could really do either an exposed surface (if it is adequately sealed with Fixative and Varnish) or put it under glass. Either is good, and I think it's always nice to get the advice of a framer too if you're unsure.
I’ve watched this videos so many times! I ordered some of that gray tone paper! Going play when it comes in. I don’t have any alcohol ink, can I water down some orange acrylic? Love these minis. ❤️
Did I say I was using alcohol ink? 🥴 I meant acrylic ink, but yes, you certainly can water some down and use that. The acrylic ink has more pigment I think but since you’re experimenting, it’s always good to try all sorts of things! Have fun and thanks so much for watching, Jill 😊

It is amazing to see how something that looks like scribbling ends up being 4 beautiful seascapes. I so enjoy your videos.❤
I know, right?? I’m a little obsessed with finding that line between scribbling and satisfying representation. It’s really my goal much of the time.
