One of the many things I enjoy about your videos is that you share your philosophy. Some 'teachers' don't say anything and we just watch them paint/collage which is fine. But, you have so many words of wisdom that I often write them down in my art journal called "things I want to remember about making art." Thank you for being such a thoughtful mentor to us!

I am definitely thinking about taking the class. The link to the mulberry shows already colored papers ….is this correct? I bought a 480 sheet stack of wet strength tissue paper for gelli printing and the only thing I don’t like about it is it doesn’t tear well in one direction only in the other direction. Love this etherial collage! Just stunning!

I'm reviewing your videos, trying to find one I watched before and want to watch again. It's about how you paint/dye your tissue papers. I've got the artist strength papers and golden fluids and am ready to start. Can anyone tell me which video it is?

I like using a decorated napkin, only one layer, especially those layers with the decoration. It takes patience to separate the layers, but the patience pays off.

Marabeth...watching your videos you have used asemic writing numerous times. Can you share with us which pen you use for this? As I am hopeful that it is clear and this it does not smudge or bleed when you have applied ehe medium over it while affixing tissue papers....this is what I see you are successful in achieving. When I first found you on RUclips, I was more interested in learning what paint colors and what techniques to use so I did not find that your Verbal instruction and inspiration was valuable. But now I realize how valuable it is. I guess that’s part of my evolution and you are helping me evolve my painting and collaging. I thank you immensely for your insights.

I bought an old iron from Goodwill ( thrift) and use it on cool settings to press in a good fold! Works after design is finished!
