Gotta love that sound of the 6V92TA
I love the rts! I wasn’t born in time to ride the 1981 and 83 but I remember the TMC! These busses will never be forgotten
I mean I was born early enough to catch the tail end of the 1981-83s and all the rest of the GMC RTSs
@@kalelc1996 Man, i wish i was able to catch these!
Only if there was a video of riding these! Reminds of ours back in Boston!
Yours were cool too they T8W604 models which were mainly built for MBTA only other TAs that had them were Massport and Disney Transport
DAAAMMMNNNN, 1984!!!!!! Way better than Raggedy 1983s. That's for sure
Very beat up indeed. but at least the m logos stayed on them till there demise in 2000
@@Daniel_L_BainI remember we had 3500s RTS buses running from Gun Hill in the Bronx. Commonly found on the Bx22 , Bx39 and Bx12
3583s is now today’s orion 7 old Gen which is soon gonna be retired
In fact, it already has been, as has most of the fleet.
Flxible Grumman/MCI Classics had that same sound too
Grumman 870 yes because it shares the same platform as the RTS but the MCI Classics share the same platform as the Fishbowl and the Flxible new look
That’s a cool rts
One of the originals
I remember one time in a movie about the Trade center, a bunch of Port Authority cops rode this bus to the Twin Towers to get there faster than fighting traffic in the RMP units.
That was a 1993 TMC RTS
The blue and White colores makes me remember the San Juan AMA GMC RTS from 1981 and 1983
