I'm planning on getting my first bearded dragon, and when I think about setting up the enclosure, researching the best care, and searching for the right breeder, it takes my mind away for a while (at least until the next rocket siren goes off and I have to run for the nearest bomb shelter.) Personally, I don't hate anyone for their religion, race, orientation, or gender. I hate people who want to kill me and the people I love. Anything short of that, and there's still room for discussion.
My heart goes out to you, your Dad and especially your grandmother; you clearly have an incredibly strong family. The world is watching you all over there and anxious to see that all end. Stay safe and thank you.

After watching the "Holy Thursday Massacre " I was appalled and in disbelief. Literally in shock. WTF! I really thought as a society we had come much farther than that. I was wrong. Somebody needs to do something I said. Enough is enough. This needs to stop. So I did something. First I joined USARK and became a bronze sustaining member. I believe that is what they call it. I ended up getting a shirt from them when I joined and eventually bought another one. I also thought USARK and USARK FL were one and the same. After doing some research I found again I was wrong. Like you, I have been in countries that would be extremely hard on a lot of westerners, emotionally and sometimes physically. Latin American countries, Nigeria. I always remember a quote from George Orwell "the further a society drifts from the truth, the more it will hate those who speak it". Its like the more they don't know the more stubbornly they know it. They should do well to remember a still tongue, keeps a wise head. Though as you say its happening more and more in all aspects of life. Its like George Orwells book 1984 is no longer a fictional story but a powers that be training manual

We live in the age of disinformation, and a time where people base their reality on a misleading headline instead of facts, and it’s terrifying. And then to have leaders, especially the leader at the top, tell you half of your fellow Americans are the ultimate evil and need to be destroyed… man, you’re right, if only people looked into history, they’d see that old event becoming a reality once again, but this time, in our own homeland. Yes, the reptile community needs to come together when protecting the hobby and welcoming new keepers. We need to hold ourselves accountable and dispel misconceptions of these animals.

The amount of people in day to day that devote themselves to trying to debunk and put people down because they cant deal with anyone whose facts make their unsupported beliefs absolute, amazes me. I've lived and worked in five countries only moved back to the US 5 years ago and the only reason I stay is because of family. The number of ex-pats I know who vehemently refuse to move back because of one... group... of people is telling. It makes me very sad and more than a little uncomfortable watching how easily hyperboil is supplanting truth and common fricking sense.
I am not sure what events you saw to inspire this video . Their is a saying ( cool head prevail) we all need to remember that . Facebook has a diy encounter page & the comments alone make a person not want to post or ask questions about things . If someone dose not know we should tell them with love .
