Amazing run I did while I was streaming. Got very lucky and some good chains and ended up with the world record time. Died twice as well which is hilarious! Still room for improvement but hard to beat. Bad quality because this is from stream directly, forgot to record. Hope you enjoy!

I remember I spent so many hours on this game.. I played for years! Maybe probably pulled in over 1,000+ hours. Till to this day, I could say it’s one of my favorite video games ever!

OMG watching this makes me happy.. I have never seen anybody as fast as myself. NICE! Sad that this game isnt online.. Nintendo def should make some kinda mini game based on this, maybe as an extention to another game.

I have it... They will stop supporting wifi for everything else than 3DS and Wii U soon. What I more wanted was something that everyone could just jump into on the fly.. Maybe a minigame in a pokemon game.. Maybe some kind of wifi game corner :P

Been a long time since I played this. It probably serves as my greatest moments in my video game life. I wish I could remember how long it took, but was able to beat super hard without continues. I played hours a day for months, and capped it off with a 14 second win vs Mewtwo. I was beyond relieved that I was finally able to do it.
Think I preserved the save file (Yeah, it means nothing since you can technically get no continues by losing and ending instead of hitting continue, but I know what happened). Very solid play.

I remember playing this game with friends and family and when they heard “pika,pika,pika,pikachu ” they knew it was over. But I spammmmed with growlithe.
I used to be INCREDIBLY good at this game... Too good in fact. I had to actually control myself from getting drunk with power and clearing the entire screen because my screen would be filled up and I had no blocks to clear it because I used them all in a 16 piece combo lmao.

I just did my best run on this mode, only 9 loses. I haven't touched the game in months, so the fact that I was able to do that makes me really proud. My best before today was over 15, so yay for progress. You have mad endurance, dude. I ran out of of steam after fighting Giovanni. Up to that point, I hadn't skipped a beat and I hadn't lost once, but the pressure was really getting to me, and I ended up losing to almost everyone after that once or twice. If only I could keep my head, I would challenge your run. GOOD WORK MATE

I remember this game was my childhood...
I have gotten a lot of questions about this. First of all thank you! Definitely one of my childhood games and have played it forever. And this run was on Wii VC, though I do play it on N64 as well. Never really emulate this unless I set up netplay in the future.

Dude it took me like 20 tries to beat Giovanni in hard mode and this guy destroyed him in seconds in super hard
It's not even a real pokemon game and yet it's fucking incredible and should be recognized as one and redone with TCG designs
One thing is required to be a puzzle master, no not practice, sleep, sleep and more sleep. But still it was awesome.

From the site I race on, there's nothing too special for this game. Emulators are allowed, along with VC which I played on. The splits that I used is a program called Wsplit. I've gotten all this info from a site called SpeedRunsLive where lots of us actually live race each other. If you want to get involved or know more, send me a message and I'll be glad to help!

I remember myself and group of friends would play this game all day long. One girl was so good that we would line up like in a conveyor belt taking turns trying to beat her. Oh so many memories. This is one awesome game between friends. Watching this makes me want to go on Ebay and buy N64 and this game for memory's sake.

Ruben Treviño Both games are reskins of a Japan-only puzzle game called Panel de Pon, so it's no wonder they're similar. ^^

Been watching old Pokémon media out of nostalgia lately. Shame that I never managed to play Puzzle League way back in the 2000's.
Dragon Ball Z fans, do you notice that the gym leader Erika looks like she's performing Vegeta's Final Flash? Seriously, ignore the Pokéball in her hands and look closely. Whoever drew Erika and perhaps other characters during the game's development must have been a closet DBZ fan.
The AI was mad stupid in this game... You accidentally hit the roof twice to both Blaine & Lorelei and they both used up all their blocks the VERY next go around. Not to mention the back to back Giovanni and Ritchie.
What are splits? Btw im a casual gamer and my Super Hard record is 14 continues and my timezone 2D record is 28,000 which is so godly for me considering i can barely get to 15,000 every 20 tries

It's interesting yo hear you talk about why you like interacting with viewers when streaming. I have 77 followers, but nobody ever seems to view me or chat with me, and I don't know how to fix that. Last time I streamed Tetris Attack, though, I couldn't help but feel a certain peace from destroying those blocks, such that I didn't care that I had no viewers. I'd love to have viewers in the future, but I suppose if I can't have fun playing a game just for the sake of playing, I can't be the kind of person who people will want to watch. :)
My computer sucks for streaming. I should probably upgrade it anyhow, it's so old. It would also help to upgrade my capture card; my Dazzle doesn't want to stream audio when using OBS, and that alone is a huge detriment, I think. :(
