Hey Justin, the downward pointing thingy bit on the end of the wing is called anthedral as opposed to dihedral.🤣🤣🤣
It is not anhedral either..... Anhedral is when the entire wing half is angled downward, and the opposite for dihedral, or a large portion of it on a gull wing. They are drooped wingtip devices/winglets, or Hoerner tips. They are never referred to as anhedral/dihedral in the case of wingtip devices.
Back to the connector type, I believe they're known as "Pin" connectors. Count the pins 6, 8 10 etc. pin connectors. Each pin has its own function generally...

The Zold's do look funky, I like that. I wonder if you can have remote landing as well as return home with the right flight controller? I saw a review of the new The Horizon Hobby Carbon Cub S+ which has GPS flight stabilisation with remote landing, looked pretty cool. Guess that'll be down to whatever FC you fit and it's capabilities?
You can do all of that with iNav and Ardupilot yes. Good thing is they are open source and configurable. Horizon’s is not.
Wing servo connectors??? First time I saw them specifically for wings was many years ago made by Graupner and Hacker but a lot of the old school large scale flyers used D9 computer connectors because there wasn't anything else.
I remember them too on computers. Kind of convenient for this application.

Man, I really need to get my Orbit setup. Yo, not sure what buzz you were talking about in what video with your Mic buzz. When I worked in live audio production and in studio production, if a mic had a buzz we would just use a ground lift for the mic, those buzzes are usually caused by a ground loop. I low pass filter might filter the buzz out, but a ground lift will eliminate it.
Does a ground lift work with my desktop audio mixer?
Is your mic an XLR? They make ground lifts for that. Your desktop mixer could cause a ground loop also, you could try lifting it with a 3 prong ac to 2 prong ac adapter. I'd only do that if lifting the XLR doesn't work. You could try using the ac adapter to lift the ground of your whole system from the laptop to the speakers and mixer. That hum or buzz is always just dirty power coming thru the ground loop. An AC power conditioner could help, like a Furman.... Basically smooths out the power like caps do for our quads.
@@dronecamps What kind of desktop mixer do you have? If it has XLR and TRS inputs then yes, you can use XLR ground lift as well as TRS ground lifts. If your MIC requires 48v phantom power, that may not work. So you would have to go down the line and lift a ground on the mixer. SOME mixers have ground lift switches on them, not often though for at home mixers. Its hard to say where the hum is coming from, it could be from any of your devices on the same power circuit. So your lights, computer, speakers, cameras, chargers.....and of those things can cause an issue. The easiest solution is to try to lift the ground on your power strip to see if that takes care of it.
@@dronecamps Pro Sound & Lighting down the street from you has lifts i'm pretty sure. They could also probably give you the low down on the problem if you tell them your setup. An XLR lift shouldnt cost more than $10 max and an AC power lift should cost like a dollar at any store anywhere.
You could use sign language and I would go out and learn it to watch your vids.
