It's not always correct though, not even the location itself.. Just played a round myself to test and got the grand canyon... Good luck with that in general but it was clearly on the north side with the sun etc, so clicked a road and viewpoint on the north side and nope, it said I was on the south side 16km away... Had a drone up in the air above Neuschwanstein castle, finding that one was a bitch but the location wasn't where the drone was hovering but right on the label for the caste instead, gg
Trott: "Let us know in full capslock how frustrated you are at us" NO TROTT. WE ARE NOT FRUSTRATED AT YOU AS A GROUP. WE'RE FRUSTRATED AT YOU, PERSONALLY. Looking forward to the next one.
going from a GeoWizard video where he pinpoints exactly where places are based on holiday photos, to here. quite the difference! both very enjoyable in their own aspects.
This is surprisingly not that frustrating to watch, you guys did pretty well with some of the lesser know locations, on the flip side it was hilarious that The Leaning Tower of Pisa messed you guys up so bad. Would love more of these please!!
When it appeared I audibly exclaimed "The Alhambra!" Went there over a year ago now - it was brilliant. Great views and a large area to walk around, got lots of photos.
9:41, I got offered the services of a prostitute beside the restaurant with the white canopies whilst having a ciggie after a meal. The wax museum is absolutely terrible, too and there's a spirit/cigar store in the square that have a parrot inside. Awesome place.
Don't worry boys, I played with my friends and I thought one of the Washington monuments was in GREECE. I've literally been there and I will never hear the end of it.
Aww, this makes me miss the summer where my Dad and I visited a few places in Europe! I love walking around inside old buildings and taking in the scenery! At least I have you three traveling the world in geoguesser while I can't go anywhere, haha, I do enjoy these, even with your smooth brain guesses, haha
Love the Hats playing this.. no matter what game they are playing, they are funny and entertaining to watch.. They have and are at the moment helping me through so much.. i dont know what id do with them. Thank you Hat bois you truly are awesome
The most frustrating thing is not them not knowing what/where places are, gaps in knowledge - perfectly normal. The frustrating thing is the time ticking down and Trott still not preplacing his marker in the general area even though he runs out of time at least once per video and doesn't get a guess in.
I for one, as a tax payer, do not wish to be mean to Trott, after all he already has to deal with his smooth brain. However, that was one of the most painful three minutes ever. Only for today, I don't stand with him.
Gonna be 100% honest thought that was the Brandenburg gate and then remembered the Story of a British plane that flew into Occupied France and dropped a French Tri-color flag on the Arch and I was like oh shit that's where this is
Holy shit, I recognized Angkor Wat, purely from all those years of playing Illusion of Gaia on the SNES. Wow, I can't believe I genuinely learned about Ankor Wat from a SNES action RPG.
The Angkor Wat one I was a bit sad none of them even got the country on, especially with how close the final was but DAMN that was a solid last match with how high those scores were, granted some of those were very iconic but yeah, it's supposed to be.
use the compass in the bottom left (above the 'return to start' flag button) - it'll help you get to the correct side of the building! (e.g. if you're looking at it and pointing east then you're to the left of it, because it's to the east of you)
I WAS NOT FRUSTRATED MEARLY CHUCKLING AT TROTT BLANKING ON THE ARC DE TRIOMPHE BUT I CAN'T BLAME HIM I'VE HAD BAD BRAIN FARTS MYSELF CONGRATS ON THE WIN MR. LIGHTHOUSE!
To be fair Angkor Wat is really out in the boonies, so def hard to spot on a map. Still, no Chris Trott error beats staring at TWO different Krakow signs while Krakow is visible on the map and not connecting the dots :D Loving the Geoguessr content, though, you should do some World games on a 10min timer!
I mean, Angkor Wat is the biggest temple complex in the world and gets millions of tourists a year... I thought they'd at least get the country right lol
The song association happens all the time with Scotland, people think that our national anthem is “Flower of Scotland” and this is incorrect. It’s actually I’m Gonna Be by The Proclaimers.
AS REQUESTED IM TYPING IN CAPS! I only knew which country like 2 of these were. xD its easy to know the names, but which country and where is a diffrent story.
I sympathise with Trott on the Arc De Triomphe one because I have many moments where I know that I know something but my smooth sieve brain wont recall the information for me. Gotta do more of Dr. Kawashima's Brain Training or something.
Let's be honest, Trott smooth-brained it because he forgot the name of the monument. Smiffy flat-brained it by missing the name of the city in the middle of the screen. Several times. At least he got the city in the end. But still...
11:42 Smith staring at the excitng-krakow sign after saying he hasn't found the town/city... It's like I'm watching Sips!
he literally stares at the name of the museum and then glosses over it when placing his guess
Can we get sips to play geogessr?
I, for one, appreciate that my kindergarten class can learn along with Trott. Isn't education great?
they could if trott was allowed near schools
Can't wait to see Trott get absolutely shredded in the comments for this one 😂
I honestly can't put my exasperation into a coherent comment. They sang the national anthem at him!
He deserves it
Brits and geography..
I have no words other than to say I have no words. How do you fuck something so simple and so iconic up?
The amount of times Smith looked at stuff that said Kraków and didn't pick up on it! As a fellow A. Smith I am disappointed
That one really hurt me since I’ve been there on a school trip, screaming every time he saw krakow
Or how many times Pisa appeared on the map
Smithsister? (smiths sister)
@@NotMurkan And Picadilly....
Literally just above the Auchwitz advert he was joking about!
One of these days they'll notice they have a compass to help place them on the right side of things...
Right?!
No, they won't.
It's not always correct though, not even the location itself.. Just played a round myself to test and got the grand canyon... Good luck with that in general but it was clearly on the north side with the sun etc, so clicked a road and viewpoint on the north side and nope, it said I was on the south side 16km away... Bold of you to assume they know how to read compasses
Smiff knows what hes doing
20:30 Watching Smith just flap around the map whilst Pisa is on screen so many times, and just flaps and flaps more rather than just looking.....
Trott’s brain is so smooth it’s shiniest thing known to man.
National Geographic once described it as one of the UK's most dazzling spectacles.
Screaming at Smiffy complaining that he can’t find the name of the city when Krakow is literally plastered evrywhere
trott looking at hamburg was definitely looking for the brandenburg gate
Trott: "Let us know in full capslock how frustrated you are at us"
NO TROTT. WE ARE NOT FRUSTRATED AT YOU AS A GROUP. WE'RE FRUSTRATED AT YOU, PERSONALLY.
Looking forward to the next one.
The number of times Pisa was on their screen... even when zoomed way out.
Smith correcting Ross for pronouncing Kraków wrong, whilst also pronouncing Kraków wrong.
I’M FRUSTRATED AND UPSET THAT YOU DON’T KNOW WHERE ALL THESE PLACES ARE DOWN TO THE LATITUDE AND LONGITUDE THAT BEING SAID I WANNA SEE MORE :)
IM TYPING THIS IN CAPS TO LET YOU GUYS KNOW HOW FRUSTRATED THIS MADE ME. As requested.
Hey! He said ALL caps!
I'M MILDLY HUMORED AT THEIR IMPERFECT GUESSES
2:55 "they built one in vegas..."
_I wish they were looking at the one in vegas on the screen that would be hilarious_
"dramatically wrong" is superb phrasing
going from a GeoWizard video where he pinpoints exactly where places are based on holiday photos, to here. quite the difference! both very enjoyable in their own aspects.
Ross is the official Mr Worldwide.
I'm more impressed they got the arc de triumph without traffic in the shot.
This is surprisingly not that frustrating to watch, you guys did pretty well with some of the lesser know locations, on the flip side it was hilarious that The Leaning Tower of Pisa messed you guys up so bad. Would love more of these please!!
not frustrated at all
10/10
BUT SMIFFY DESERVED THAT WIN DAMNIT
Oh Trott 😢
I'M NOT FRUSTRATED IN THE SLIGHTEST AS I WOULD NOT DO ANY BETTER
i feel the same way. I clearly need to read a Travel magazine.
When it appeared I audibly exclaimed "The Alhambra!"
Went there over a year ago now - it was brilliant. Great views and a large area to walk around, got lots of photos.
Be honest guys, we’d all make fools of ourselves too at some point. #istandbychrisstrott
The man didn't even know what it was after he guessed! #versaillesisapalace
To be fair, you can't get mad at a man just because he doesn't know the Paris national anthem.
#IStandWithChrisTrottJustNotTooClose
chris strott
Alex ignoring the sign for "Historical Museum of Krakow" 5 times, is just as triggering as Trott's Arc de Triomphe miss.
congratulations Ross on the discovery of your natural habitat in Sydney
9:41, I got offered the services of a prostitute beside the restaurant with the white canopies whilst having a ciggie after a meal.

It's feels righ that Hornby Lighthouse has a view of Manly Beach
It's Lady Bay. :p
Oh? Didn't notice lol. Guess he gets to see em both
You guys should do a video with Geowizard - I think you have very similar senses of humour, it'd be great!
He’d self immolate watching Hats play.
Aww, this makes me miss the summer where my Dad and I visited a few places in Europe! I love walking around inside old buildings and taking in the scenery! "its all in bloody gobbledy gook as well" XD
Oh shit, I recognised 9:18 instantly, Krakow cloth hall, been there and got a model of it!
I honestly think I can watch you guys play Geoguessr forever. This is really good stuff
Loving all the Geoguessr content guys! Also makes me feel incredibly rough brained when I get them before you do.
Love the Hats playing this.. no matter what game they are playing, they are funny and entertaining to watch.. They have and are at the moment helping me through so much.. i dont know what id do with them. Thank you Hat bois you truly are awesome
Wow how awesome. I actually went to the first location in Prague. I thought it looked too familiar.
Adam “we are removing ignorance from our brains” while staring Pisa in the face
8:29 "tHat'S ThE PaRIs nAtiOnAL antHeM??!?"

IM NOT FRUSTARTED AT ALLL BY THESE VIDEOS!!!!> PLEASE MORE
Prague is a beautiful city, I want to go back there some day
Gonna be 100% honest thought that was the Brandenburg gate and then remembered the Story of a British plane that flew into Occupied France and dropped a French Tri-color flag on the Arch and I was like oh shit that's where this is
I like how they didn't use the compass to figure out which side of the monuments they were on lol
I think smithy needs new glasses cause I saw Pisa on his screen about 5 times before he clocked it...
i really enjoy watching these!
Love these videos so much, you guys get to learn and so do I.
Holy shit, I recognized Angkor Wat, purely from all those years of playing Illusion of Gaia on the SNES. Wow, I can't believe I genuinely learned about Ankor Wat from a SNES action RPG.
I guess Tropp has never even watched Chevy Chase drive around the arc de triomphe endlessly in European Vacation hahaha
"Wheres a really fun place for us to go" whilst looking at the Auschwitz tour sdffsd SMITH
Hey @HatFilms, I think you should play these in challenge mode and post the link to it in the description so we can play along with you at home!!!!
an esoteric example of a Chris Trott Error here
I love this series so much! Never stop :)
LOVE this, please pump my veins with more Geoguessr
omg I grew up next to the Alhambra, knew instantly from the bricks exactly where it was.
Really entertained watching these boiks with smooth brains and dog vision
9:11 always reminds me of the old (2008) Colin Farrell, Brendan Gleeson film, "In Brujes."
I'd pick the wrong location, but that's my world.
Would've been funny if Trott found the arch in Barcelona while looking for the one in Paris.
NOT FRUSTRATED AT ALL BECUASE I AM LEARNING WITH YOU GUYS!
The Angkor Wat one I was a bit sad none of them even got the country on, especially with how close the final was but DAMN that was a solid last match with how high those scores were, granted some of those were very iconic but yeah, it's supposed to be.
Honestly not that frustrated you guys did really well on this one!

@@BlackVoidTytan That's true, at least the country indeed
I got a perfect 5000 a couple times on famous places, it’s hard but doable if you get somewhere you know well
Another educational evening provided by hatfilms
The song association happens all the time with Scotland, people think that our national anthem is “Flower of Scotland” and this is incorrect.
It’s actually I’m Gonna Be by The Proclaimers.
Don't think any other video has ever made me this frustrated. And I still want more...
Smith, extremely smugly "Does the Nuremburg Gate ring a bell?"
oh dear trott, the smoothbrain struck hard on this one
AS REQUESTED IM TYPING IN CAPS!
I only knew which country like 2 of these were. xD

I LOVE YOU GUYS. PLEASE CONTINUE TO MAKE AWESOME VIDEOS THAT ARE IN NO WAY FRUSTRATING.
I think the boiks have done very well for themselves considering Trott has never heard of France and Smith doesn't know what London is.
Only just started and all 3 of them ignored the Czech flag they spawned under.
Brit's colonized half the world and can't even recognize the Arc de Triomphe 😭
It is France... 😂
@@narutohokage20 But I thought that was the Paris National Anthem he was humming...
They cant recognize a town next to them
I'll just throw out that Splitsie lives just a hair north of Sydney.
Let's be honest, Trott smooth-brained it because he forgot the name of the monument. Smiffy flat-brained it by missing the name of the city in the middle of the screen. Several times. At least he got the city in the end. But still...
WOW i always thought that was the french national anthem, nice info there Smith.
I live in Sydney and I feel SO SEEN
IM NOT FRUSTRATED AT ALL BUT I DO LIKE CAPS LOCK. THANKS FOR THE CONTENT.
TIL the UK pronounces Krakow differently (and more like actual Polish)
Only frustrated with trott, but it has happened to me before so, no shade
Quite proud of myself for knowing the Krakow one right off the bat
So they tried places they've been, places in their own country and now famous places, how easy do they need to make it for them to get good at this?
These bois are playing high level geogusser
Love this content you smooth brained bois
Hope one day see hatiflms in Australia on a road trip
The pain when smiff scrolled past it in his map twice.
I knew the roundabout from that episode of the Simpsons
It’s ok Smith I wouldn’t be able to find Piccadilly on a map either
Honestly I'm just happy at least one of the boiks got the Prague castle 😅
Ross "Mr Worldwide" Hornby
I AM NOT FRUSTRADED. CHEERS TO ROSS FOR THE VICTORY
ENJOYED
I AM NOT FRUSTRATED! I JUST LIKE CAPS LOCK AND I LIKE YOUR VIDS!
