Backpacking BWCA - Sioux-Hustler Trail

- I didn't have much time, but I squeezed in a beautiful fall backpacking trip in the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness in the Superior National Forest. On this hike, I complete the 31 mile Sioux-Hustler Trail alone. Most wouldn't try to squeeze 10 hours of driving and 31 miles of hiking into 2 days, but they probably haven't enjoyed sunset at a BWCA campsite. The trip was a bit rushed, but enjoyable.

Way to push yourself!
MMMMMMMMMMmmmm, Steak. Oh, and great scenery also.
Dude, u killed it! That trail kicked my ass in just 3 days…I petition we change your trail name to Iron Man 💪🏼😎 lol
Planning on making this my first backpacking trip.
Nice. Have fun!
Great video that brings back many memories. I used to help clear the Sioux-Hustler Trail with Carl Anderson and the Mn Canoe Association way back when. It's an incredible area.
Beautiful scenery. Solo backpacking. Ribeye and a campfire and a Hammock. Awesome 👍🏻👍🏻
You should try the AT next year
"Back on trial mon, sheeeat" LOL
U never disappoint…great video as usual
Awesome lollipop loop trail I've only paddled and snowshoed in the BWCA I might have to try one of these was thinking the Border Route Trail?...
I have a border route trail video coming out this week.
Where can I get one of those glowing orange hats I see at the 4-minute mark? (just teasing). Great video of a MN trail as always.
Didn't look rushed at all. Really enjoyed it. Beautiful trail!
I would probably take more time to enjoy the wilderness.
The next time I’ll be going faster
It's really interesting how much the water level dropped in your video compared to when we did it just a couple weeks earlier. Got a lot of rain right before we started. For example the Heritage Creek crossing didn't have any rocks above the water and we took the log over. That sketchy beaver dam by Shell Lake wasn't visible either. Anyway looks like you had awesome conditions with those clouds and and colors at sunset and sunrise!
Nice little hike.
Wow. Crazy fast!!
How many ticks? Looks gorgeous. This Michigan girl wants to explore west. Thanks for the video.
None. Use permethrin.
Do u have to worry about poison ivy at all while on the BWCA trails?
Probably. I have just gotten lucky.
