I ran into that same beaver dam during a canoe trip back in August. It looks like the water is up another 6-12" from August. I was very thankful to be able to float it rather than bushwhack. I also ran into a bear during my trip at the next lake over Caribou Lake at the further site on the west end of that lake. He visited the other two sites after ours, and revisited ours after visiting the other two. Thankfully he only got our garbage bag, but he certainly wasn't scared of us at all. We did stay at the next campsite to your east on the north shore of Clearwater, and didn't have any issues with the bear there. Though I believe someone else posted a video where they did have an issue with a bear at the site I'm referring too.
Don’t encourage them! I usually wear shorts but the colder temps on the start of this one intimidated me a bit. I Would have had to hike really fast to stay warm and I was trying to stick with the group. Thanks for watching.
What week did you guys hike? We went the week of the 10th of October and went thru the water. It was about waist deep at the worst on both, and painfully cold!!! 🥶
A lot of your Midwest videos remind of parts if Maine, lots of water and not overly mountainous. Beautiful country for sure.
I thought the same when I was in Maine.
Man, you guys crush some miles!
If I do 10, it’s a big day...
I guess I’m more of a camper who loves to hike than a hiker.
That looks totally awesome!!
Gorgeous colors and love to see the first snow. Glad you made it around the water safely.
Jeremy, this is one of your best videos you have produced. Happy Hiking
Thanks. Part 2 is better! 😁
Outstanding! Appreciate you guys sharing. 🏕🍁
Wow this is fantastic! Beautiful! Really enjoyed this. Thanks for posting.
Looks like a very challenging trail with some nice playoffs...

I enjoy a good broken record. Thank you!
Kudos to the guys wearing shorts ! It's only October, couldn't tell you last time I had on pants whilst hiking...It may tad warmer here tho...

Looks like a nice trail overall. What's the elevation?
The highest point is under 6000 feet.
What’s your thoughts on the 13’ thunderfly vs your mountainfly after using it for awhile?
The mountain fly seems way to big after using the Thunder fly.
