"The Lotus Swing's "Lotus Reverie" concept is an artistic manifestation of the lotus' profound meaning. It represents serenity, transformation, and a strong connection between nature and the human spirit. It is not just a swing but a profound architectural creation that encapsulates the essence of the lotus, offering an immersive experience that intertwines nature and human spirit in perfect harmony. This visionary design pays homage to the lotus, a timeless symbol of purity and spiritual growth.
It represents the ecosystem of lotus lifestyle with surrounding environment on local site’s experience to the users such as growing process of lotus, the way of life that coexists with birds and cohabitation symbolism & etc.
This project is one-of-a-kind, with an emphasis on aesthetics, sustainability, architectural innovation, and contextual integration. It has two separate structures, one mobile for inner elements and the other immovable for exterior components, representing the lotus growing process. Bamboo is the major building material, and its renewable and eco-friendly features ensure sustainability. The lotus shape inspired the design, which blends effortlessly with the natural surroundings, while bamboo strips and fabric accents add structural support. The exterior structure represents petals, the seating area represents seeds, and the inside bamboo structures depict the inner flower petals, all within a beautiful verdant backdrop."
They will receive RM2,500, a Trophy and a certificate. The certificates and prize money will be presented during the Award Ceremony after the International Level competition in Guangzhou China. We will post an update here soon.
