So, under "oil control system" after you reset and it indicate 9942 miles, does that mean your oil is due to change at mileage? Can you change that to other mileage?
Whenever I turn my car on, it shows me a warning “oil & filter” , I then go & check my engine oil & it says there “Engine Oil Service due in 2118 miles” what is the reason for that? Does it mean that I NEED to do the change already even tho it’s due in 2,118 miles or ?
I have a 2019 Nissan Altama SR and my problem is a light that saids malfunction and reduced power can you help or anyone or should I take the car in today’s a holiday so I cannot call. Thanks
Oil and filter is the oil change and the materials you replace during the oil change. Oil engine is how long you’ve been driving since your last oil change. In a way it’s a double reminder, but one is more specific.
Under "oil and filter, I change my to 7500 because under "oil control system", it said oil due at 9942 miles and I don't want to wait 9000+ until my next oil change. LOL Yes, synthetic oils are good for 10K but no way I'm waiting that long to change my oil even my driving is 80% highway.
The engine light stays on until you turn the vehicle on. I had it in the second position so all the lights were on. Once you start the vehicle they all go away.

So is the “oil and filter” selection just a warning? And the oil control system is how many more miles until you’re completely out of oil?

Why is your engine light on, just curious because I have a 2020 Altima with engine light on
