I decided to check oil life and all it is showing 0000/0000 so what to do? RESET again?

If you're like me and you have the version with a 'Start' button instead of a key, the display will tell you to hold down the OK button, but you also have to pump the accelerator three times.

Did not work. No mileage showing.

Whenever I turn my car on, it shows me a warning “oil & filter” , I then go & check my engine oil & it says there “Engine Oil Service due in 2118 miles” what is the reason for that? Does it mean that I NEED to do the change already even tho it’s due in 2,118 miles or ?

Under "oil and filter, I change my to 7500 because under "oil control system", it said oil due at 9942 miles and I don't want to wait 9000+ until my next oil change. LOL Yes, synthetic oils are good for 10K but no way I'm waiting that long to change my oil even my driving is 80% highway.

So, under "oil control system" after you reset and it indicate 9942 miles, does that mean your oil is due to change at mileage? Can you change that to other mileage?

I have a 2011 E550 and at first it didn’t work until I closed the door and try it again you have to do it with the door closed with the key in the first position
