2020 Sentra here. Yesterday driving to work going around 50-60kmph I hit a bump and the dash started lighting up red flashing colours and it slammed on the brakes and took me to a dead stop. Took it to Nissan under warranty and they said the system needed and update. The update was to clear any previous bugs the computer in the car had. Just got the car back from the dealer about an hour ago so hopefully the problem is solved. Yes Nissan resolved the issue under warranty. What happened was the main engine harness had a shortage in the wires which shorted out the ecm, throttle body, the egr system, and mass air flow system. So all of that was replaced and the car was retuned at the dealership. Now there have been some cases where people experience this issue and it goes away and they just replaced their batteries on car because they were not producing enough voltage and it resolved the issue. @@TheRealCountryBoyModz I almost had to Lemon law my 22 Nissan Sentra SR. Nothing but issues, sold it because didn't want to drive a junker for 6+months and deal with the Lemon law. Transmission was starting to fail at 5k miles, prior to that the car would randomly shut off while driving, car would randomly not start, not detect key fob (yes I tried replacing fob battery) car would also randomly not start even though the keyfob was being detected, battery died multiple times just sitting locked for a few hours. since day ONE the car RATTLED all over especially from under the passenger side. Multiple Dealerships were useless, kept clearing codes and then saying "well we cleared all the codes, since they haven't come back after 20 minutes it's fine"... I mean a brand new car with 2k miles shouldn't be throwing all kinds of codes, such as abs code, low voltage code, and a whole bunch of other meaningless codes. Like really Nissan?! Oh and to top it all off they 'offered' me a loaner for $60 a day while they look at the car. Like really?! Not even 2 months and 5k miles into ownership and it was at multiple different dealerships multiple times just to be told "can not duplicate" "cleared codes, they didn't come back, so all good" and for the rattling they pretty much said "raised car and looked underneath car, could not duplicate" -and yes I have videos of rattles, malfunctions, car not starting, transmission going out at 5k miles, etc. Will never buy Nissan again; worst experience ever. Nissan must know they make bad cars because in the warranty clause it says something like ownership does not transfer if car is sold within 6 months of purchase. I'm sorry to whoever gets the car next, because you're getting a junker with no warranty (not that the warranty does anything anyways). I'm hoping I just got a Lemon of a car, but just from this comment section it appears there's lots of issues :(

This is happening to my Nissan Sentra and it's only 2,000 miles. The problems I've had with it is hilarious, if it wasn't so freaking sad. 2x I couldn't start the car because the battery went dead. Was told that the infotainment system would turn on mysteriously and drain the battery. Bought it to the dealership and cross my fingers it hasn't happened again. Then my front AEB would come on for no reason (the sign that tells you it's not working) 2x now I've had the actual AEB brake suddenly but there were no cars ahead or the the sides. I'm so scared, I've resorted to turning off the AEB altogether. Waiting for the chip shortage is over so I can trade in for a Toyota! I've had this car for 6 months and it is the worst thing I have ever bought in my life. I absolutely hate it. FML never a Nissan is my motto now, never a Nissan.

@@vivianfoster702 I would take it in to see what’s going on Nissan are not bad I actually have a 2014 Sentra as well and had no issues with that one but definitely go get it check it out and make sure all of your sensors are cleaned on the bumper and on the front Nissan emblem plate. Also if you live in a snowy or wet area it can cause them to malfunction as well due to all the water coverage! Be safe on that road though

I almost had to Lemon law my 22 Nissan Sentra SR. I'm sorry to whoever gets the car next, because you're getting a junker with no warranty (not that the warranty does anything anyways)
