My oma always made tomato sandwiches, I thought it was a European thang 😊, or sometimes she'd make a tomato salad with sweet onions and German Salada' dressing (I can guarantee I spelled the name of the dressing wrong) a splash of EVOO, salt n pepper. Either way its delicious. That dressing is comparable to a sweet rice vinegar 😋.

I went to a farmers market today as well and straight to the Mushroom Lady, she had oyster, chestnut woods ears and shitakes and all will happily be admired for their beauty and their taste in an Asian stir fry inspired by a restaurant I ate at in Amsterdam's China Town this year. Tomato sandwiches are such a bomb of a secret. Love the vids you put out. Made your Harissa butter beans. Dang it, so good. Growing up my mom fed us those Tomato sandwiches and thin sliced Radish sandwiches. Radishes sliced thin and stacked. Baby spinach, butter (now vegan butter) and black cracked pepper on thick sliced bread. fire.
Hearty bread with fat sliced local tomatoes and thin sliced sweet onions - this is a summer staple! Serve with fresh corn on the cob and that was Aug in my childhood!

I honestly recommend just using hot water for your matcha. That heat is what helps release those nutrients your body absorbs when you drink it. I recommend shaking or frothing your cold milk before pouring in matcha to make it creamier

I just tried Annie and Frankie sausages I think that's the brand lawdy when I say it tasted like real sausage..and I use the same plant based butter found it at Sprouts I saw the owners on Netflix and I've been wanting to try it... I've been incorporating more plant based in my diet. For breakfast I've been doing Kodiak pancakes w the Annie sausage. This is so inspiring... I have the islandic 15g protein..

I actually like to mix my mushroom coffee and my matcha together with a lil coffee creamer. Also the one that I have is pre sweetened I believe. I found it at Marshall’s. Don’t have the name of it at the moment but it’s less stirring.

New subby here!! Fava Bean tofu...can you describe the taste at all? I'm not a fan of soy either. So, July 20th, my sub brain said no meat. My logical brain said just do 3 days..we compromised!😂 Day 4 I noticed how quickly the 3 days went and how i didn't want meat. I did have meat on day 12/13/14.. it was the weekend, and i was ill-prepared, but I'm back on the wagon...3 days in...Fridge/pantry prepped. It's funny how un-forced this feels. My biggest concern is wasting the meat in my freezer🥴 But, im forging ahead. 🙏🏾 Thank you for this video. It helps to have visuals.

I want to try it, as lately I have been making Muesli it is like granola but it's not baked or Sweetened with anything. Google Muelsi vs. Granola. Anyway, the original Icelandic Skyr yogurt is so thick, but I don't think my body likes dairy. So I have been meaning to try more plant based yogurt to set up a Swiss Muesli for breakfast, so thanks 😊 again. I have been using half Skyr and have plain yogurt, but I will search for the oatmilk yogurt.

No alcohol because it’s too expensive and figured why start if I haven’t had sny in almost ten yrs, bike or jog to school in a hurry to not be late for lectures instead of taking the bus (to save money), lots of water to stay awake, 200-300 pages a day (law school). Not taking photos though of myself (only have photos of my friends and my cat on my phone). Some say pic me, but this is just life for me and most likely others too. / Scandinavian

If you like nutritional yeast you can use that instead if cornstarch for a crispy tofu. It works impressively well

No alcohol because it’s too expensive and figured why start if I haven’t had sny in almost ten yrs, bike or jog to school in a hurry to not be late for lectures instead of taking the bus (to save money), lots of water to stay awake, 200-300 pages a day (law school). Not taking photos though of myself (only have photos of my friends and my cat on my phone). Some say pic me, but this is just life for me and most likely others too. / Scandinavian
