Refreshing to see a professional that just fixes the issue and not feed into lazy customers that blame Apple for their mistakes. Apple has its faults but they give you tools to protect your data if you are responsible enough to take the time to turn on iCloud. Thank you!
I find your videos fascinating of a 65-year-old man who is retired from electronics in the streets and would love to get back into something is there any place I can go to really maybe take some classes and buy some equipment love love your videos
I can’t believe how I missed to watch your video, Jason brings the best of all messed n not messed jobs. Thx for another helpful thoughtful and hilarious video.

Just so you know, I usually watch youtube on kodi...no ads...but your videos I first watch ads on mobile, then on TV... Love to watch you work again! 😊👍👍👍
Happy to see your return Jason. As always, great video with lots of descriptive technical tips. Hope you and your family have a wonderful and safe holiday season. Welcome home! :)
Your videos are really great. I came across one a very long time ago, but never came back to your channel. I’m all about makeup, metal detecting, and crime shows on here. I’m just intrigued how delicate you are, your problem solving skills are VERY quick, even when you don’t have the schematics for the model. Your a damn GEM fixing these problems KNOWN to these big companies. You keep it funny, and it’s awesome!
@STSTelecom How do you fix an iphone X stuck in recovery mode because of a full storage. It went into a bootloop and then updating failed because of lack of sufficient storage. Would the phone require to be opened for this issue? What is a possible solution? Waiting to hear from you
been watching and supporting this channel since it started. glad to see you again sir. you inspired me a lot to persue my passion. hope to see more videos again sir. one big fan here from the philippines!
I mostly use syncios data recovery & ibackupviewer. There was something about iMazing that turned me against it and I quit using it. It may have been one of those that wanted to charge per device or something.
Hey Jason. I finally found this video after digging a bunch. Its the only video of yours ive seen where you separate the boards by lifting on a screw. @6:40 Have you abandoned this method,? Do you prefer flipping the board over with your metal spudger, like in all your other videos? TY
I still use the screw method to separate boards that have low-melt alloy holding them together. On the 12 series and up (excluding the mini), they've used a much higher temperature alloy and it makes it a lot more difficult to separate. For those I am heating similar to lifting a CPU & flipping them over with metal blade. I really don't like the newer boards!
@@ststele Wow, Im going to need to re-watch a bunch of your videos now that i know the difference separating boards. Wouldn't flipping a board over at a hotter temperature be more risky? Like incase something else on the board is heated up to a molten state?
Thanks. After recording this, I started to think that maybe this guy bought the phone used and it got liquid damaged later. Odd that he would have taken it to Apple if it was bought used tho. 🤔
STS TELECOM Please help. I do repairs for a living but am stuck seeing many iPhone X’s with same issue. Storage absolute full to the point where phone forgets how to turn on. Phone stuck on Apple logo for solid 3-5 minutes, then reboots. And repeats. I have updated some in the past and they usually show error 14. Is there a solution for this?
Hello I have a problem with my iPhone XS it is stuck in attempting data recovery. Every time voorloop when it is over the half. Do you know what to do? Grtz
Could you explain why Paul Daniels software upset your recording without using expletives please. If indeed it does have issues, could you share with us what it was. Regards from Australia
I think it was Jason's attempt at Humor, Louis Rossmann does the same, it is a long standing joke with Paul Daniels, notice how Jason carried on with a plug for Paul's program right after..

In my opinion you are a professional, you would have not made a mess of the original solder balls or spacers. I've watched you go so carefull with seperating and joining the boards back together. Yes i'm biased, you are a smashing bloke. I do enjoy the banter between you and paul, also between paul and louis rossmann. Taking the micky out of each other is good.
Thank you! Paul is a good guy. It really wasn't his software's fault but rather my recording machine. I had removed a video card since my last video & did not realize that FlexBV was hogging the wimpy GPU I was using for encoding. It's my fault for not watching the encoding stats while recording but I'm still gonna blame Paul :D
Love these videos. Nice to see you back on here again. Quick question... once the customer receives the flash drive then how do you link your phone through iTunes to pick this information off the flash drive or do you have to move into a particular file as when you back up an iPhone it doesn’t show which file location it’s in? Thanx

Do you mind if I ask why do you use the red probe on ground and black on positive? I thought it was supposed to be the other way. (noob here if you haven't noticed)
just making a guess here: either he has the probes connected the other way around on the multimeter, or he propes both normal and inverted in diode test mode in order to see if the "diode" voltage drop in normal mode is due to something other than the diode that limits the voltage such as a resistance in something - a resistive kind of short should turn up pretty symmetrical while a diode drop should limit to a lower voltage in the forward direction
