Less in the beginning and maybe 3-4 minutes for heavier sets. for first 3 warmup sets I basically get back under the bar by the time I've adjusted the plates.
@@twistedbarbell3950 thanks. I am trying to get more consistent with my warm ups and rest periods because Squats have been crappy these last few weeks.
@@DanielGarcia-th5ri The best bet is to listen to your body. There's no sense in rushing into the next set if your body is not ready. I monitor my HR with my watch and between that and my breathing, I trust I'm ready for the next one. In the past when rushing, I was unable to brace properly or catch my breath in between reps and it has a negative effect on the quality of reps. Good luck.
