Most of his life he was hard core leftist and a communist. He's listed as a civil rights activist but he was staunchly anti religion. But instead of outright lie and look like total fools, our State Department obfuscated. In American football lingo, they punted!
Reporting on what they were about to release indicated they weren't even going to do that. It's what took the delay in release: they were struggling with how to lie without outright lying.

There is one significant change in this tranche of aid to Israel and all succeeding aid to Israel, in that aid to Israel is now Conditional aid, this would be relative to whatever the US decides what conditions should be met, as simple as that, future aid will depend on how Israel performs in its Rafah campaign, the condition of the Palestinians in al its aspects is of utmost priority, this is precisely the reason why aid to Israel is now Conditional. Imagine that Israel has been receiving aid like on a "carte blanc" basis ever since. It's definitely a step on the right path. Nothing else has changed US remains Israel's ally in the middle east and has been for the longest time. Biden did well here I think.
How utterly naive, to believe that the Saudis, or anybody else, would be willing to organize and deploy a peace-keeping force to separate Israelis and Palestinians. I remember how the Israeli military pushed such a peace-keeping force aside when it invaded Lebanon in 1982.

Netanyahu has demonstrated contempt fot US interests in Palestine for at least 15 years. When Biden, then Obama's VP, arrived to discuss matters, Netayahu was busy evicting Palestinian families to make way for Israeli settlers, in violation of the Oslo accords.
Netanyahu understands nothing about diplomacy, and has turned a blind eye to the suffering of Gaza civilians.

We are constantly told - with the monotony of a mantra - that the IDF military campaign's air strikes and bombardments have killed 35,000 Palestinians civilians (source, Hamas), with *mostly women and children* underscored in practically every such report. Is it possible that the missiles and bombs used by the IDF belong to a class of hyper-accuracy that can single out two particular demographics with the specificity virtually of sniper fire? If not, how then do we account for the absence of adult male fatalities? I have a real wacky theory (of conspiratorial proportions, admittedly) that such weapons do not even exist, and that the fighting-age males of Gaza have survived not by some miracle but by the simple dodge of hiding in a network of subterranean tunnels. I know this is naive Bermuda Triangle stuff, but has anyone looked into the possible existence of a hidden tunnel system into which only males of combat age are permitted, thereby "fighting" a low-risk war with their chief weapon being the harrowing deaths of women and children? To coin a phrase, "human shields", if you will; piles of corpses with immense propaganda value. After all, it's no less plausible than missiles and bombs that detect and home in on gender and age range.

I am not a lawyer, but it seems to me that organizing a famine, depriving the population of essential services such as drinking water, sewage disposal, access to healthcare, bombing densely populated areas and killing civilians without discernment, all this falls within the scope of this definition. And I don't think any of this is unintentional.
