ICC law also doesn't extend into the United States, because we never ratified their treaty. More than half the word's population lives in countries that don't recognize the ICC. That means they are a minority trying to dictate to the majority.

This is the single greatest test of legitimacy that the ICC has faced since its establishment. Regardless what the court rules, the issuing of these warrants leave the integrity of the ICC prosecutory arm intact. A quintessential need for it to retain its functionality

To my understanding, ICC prosecutors did not equate crimes of Hamas to those of Israel. They sought arrest warrents for both, and each case needs to be investigated individually.

Abbas in the Westbank is much more realistic, but unfortunately, because he is more reasonable, Israël keeps colonising the Westbank and taking advantage of it. So yeah it's like you can't solve anything with Israël, it's quite clear they actually want to drive the Palestinians out, that's why I believe there will never be a two state solution as long as the VS keeps backing Israël in every crime they commit. Because if Palestine becomes sovereign, they can't steal land anymore.

Despite everything, there are too many leaders who are not fit to serve in any position of authority. The world, and in particular the West, has far too many of these types in leadership positions today. Nuremburg is 80 years in the rearview mirror at this point, and has itself been abused and misused over the totality of its existence.
