The issue there is probably because there's a conflation of Islam and Arabic cultures. A lot of Islam is the result of having to acquiesce to Arabic norms of the time and probably wouldn't have been in there at all if it hadn't needed to be sold to the Arabs. The issue there is probably because there's a conflation of Islam and Arabic cultures. A lot of Islam is the result of having to acquiesce to Arabic norms of the time and probably wouldn't have been in there at all if it hadn't needed to be sold to the Arabs. You see the same sort of thing in Chinese forms of Buddhism having to be adjusted in order to get the locals to adopt it. Without that, China probably never would have had any meaningful Buddhist presence.

Actually, the thumbs up are totally legit. I am Afghan myself and I am fluent in the language you're referencing; Farsi. Well, Dari actually, which is a dialect of Farsi (Originally Farsi is a dialect of Dari, but thats a whole other debat).
Kurdish languages like Kurmanji and Surani are closely related to Fars languages like Dari and Farsi, we both count the same etc as you guys. Persian and Farsi however are the same language.
