I am an American man. I met a Persian woman in Canada. We fell in love and got married. She took me to her home in Tehran to meet her family. Persian people are the NICEST, KINDEST, MOST WONDERFUL people. I wish I could move there but her parents have passed and she died of cancer. She was my angel. I can think of no better wife than a Persian. 100% true.

I had many bad experiences dating persian women when I was younger. Being Persian, it was pushed on me so that didn't help if I'm being honest. Persian people can truthfully be either kind/honest and extremely cut throat. I've met both types. Full disclosure: This is just my opinion and mine only and not judging all persians as a whole. I'm also born and raised in the culture.

Iranians are the best people, period. During my 2 week trip to Iran I was met by so much generosity, politeness and warmth like in no other country I've ever visited. That time I became a big fan of Persians.

As someone who grew up in Latin American where people often glorify the white/blonde/fair eyed beauty standard I wholeheartedly agree with you. Not to say that this type doesn't exist amongst ourselves, it does, but the glorification is out of the charts.
Of course in both Persian culture & Latin American culture we still have blonde hair blue eyed light featured individuals as well (you can see it across the board for any race actually)

I'm Iranian-Armenian and I would just add to Bahador's comment about the culture of Iran that it's a unique culture that is open to you no matter what your religion is. @@seandavila835 Yes, but I live in Canada and actually have a lot more Persian friends than Armenians, so I feel like my Persian is much better than Armenian. We speak both at home. In some ways it's hard to explain but my family lived in Iran for 6 generations and they became accustomed to being Iranian.

I loved this video especially being a non-Iranian who used to have a negative view of Iranians. So thanks for this and your lovely guests, especially Sara and Bahador from his channel. To be honest, Bahador's channel actually changed my negative perceptions of Iranians, so I think having him here for this type of video was an excellent idea. Moreover, our ancient Sanskrit language and Farsi have a lot of common things because they belong to the same language group.

In 1935, Reza Shah made a formal request to the rest of the world to stop calling Iran Persia, and refer to it by its ancient name Iran, which Iranians themselves had always been using.

We also in Egypt have the same tea culture we called it Chai also. A lot of people say that they are Arabs (no offense) bec some of their features are similar to Arabs. I really find it beautiful that we share some of tiny cultures together (it's only my opinion)
I am personally, as an Iranian, completely OK with being wrongly considered as Arab. Anyway Iranians and Arabs have the most common culture and attitudes than others. And it is interesting that I found Egyptians, regardless of the distance, the most sympathetic and matching arab communities to Iranians so far than other Arabs.😊
@@abbask56 I really liked your comment. For your information it's so hard for people to differentiate between Arabs and Latinos due to some similarity between them and us in features. The singer of the song despacito (sry I don't remember his name) when he came to Egypt for his concert as he was walking down street the people didn't recognize him as he looked so egyptian (we have a lot of guys who look exactly like him) so it's okay to be mistaken sometimes as an Arab we sometimes be mistaken being Latinos and Hindus so it's completely fine
@@mernawael9640 Iranians are from Middle East too, so that's why they look similar to other Middle Easterners such as Arabs, Kurds and etc.
I believe that the cultural similarities are considerably bold and it's mainly due to propaganda of different states in different eras that we have parted so far away while we can really create a strong coalition by concentrating on the shared culture, values and more importantly political interests in the region.

8:08 one thing about Iranian accents that I noticed is that there is a random “eh~” before some word that start with the letter “s”, and of course! The w becomes v thing and “ai” sounds like “ahy”
