A good practice I’ve adopted is loading your chocks by pulling the trailer against one set then insert the other two before releasing the tow vehicle brake while in neutral. The trailer settles down, both sets of chocks are tight and actually do their job. Takes a few more minutes but we’ll worth the effort.

Richard, were you camping at Spacious Skies in Luray last year? A guy that helped me properly torque up my distribution hitch gave me the exact same tip about chocking.

I definitely agree about their zip ties. I buy mine there. But I bought some black rubber bungee cords there and they didn’t last long at all. They broke at the hole where the S hooks go in. And they aren’t very stretchy. They don’t seem to be a good rubbery type material. And thank you for the tip on the socket adapters! I actually looked for those at Lowes and couldn’t find them. I just recently bought a 2014 Forest River toy hauler and I’ve been watching your videos to build my tool collection! It’s in really great shape but I still expect to have to do repairs from time to time and maintenance. But that’s ok, I’m good with that. Thanks again!

Its rare that an item less than $10 will be around for decades -- but those wheel chocks will!
Make sure your sockets for removing a truck or RV wheel are 6 pt and not 12pt. Huge difference. Ask me how I know.

What is the tool bag you were loading in the back of your truck?
Its this CLC toolbag - bag was awesome - however it just gets too wet in the truck bed that I moved to a plastic drawer system that's worked better for my setup.
