Good to see you looking at harbor freight for camp stuff. I’d recommend- a couple pairs of quality gloves to protect your hands when handling campfire wood, and doing other tasks around camp. A box of heavy duty trash bags (the really thick drum liners) to use as ground cover, poncho, dry bag etc, manual hand drill boring tools to make holes into things, a tool bag or similar item to put your stuff into, extra batteries, a sharpening stone/puck to sharpen the hatchet 🪓 and other tools to maintain sharp edges, fire starters (if they have them), brass wire (snares or other uses), bailing wire, duck or gorilla type tape, perhaps a power bank (like the kind to jump start cars and to recharge electronics) which you can keep charged with the solar panel, small diameter line (such as weed eater/trimmer line), and other things.
YESSS TO THE TILES!! I even made a bag to carry them in out of one of the tarps. But I bought the tarp from the $1.25 store. I saw the edges together and put a strip of durable nylon through the grommets and then strip strung that through a pool noodle to cushion the shoulder.
one of my favorite lines in Rambo First Blood when you looked at that survival knife. The quote is: "Why would you have a knife like this?" "Hunting." "What do you hunt with a knife?" "The enemy."
Near the toolboxes, they have magnetic accessories. I got a magnetic paper towel holder that I stick on the side of the bear locker where I camp. It's awesome
And let’s see y’all do a camp video using that stuff, and a video using “trash”- like discarded fiber optic/cat cabling, old wiring, “used house wrap”, plastic sheeting/drum liners, and other stuff you’d find in a house/building demo project.
Haha yeah hmmm we didn’t spot one of those there I guess? 🤔 We got an ultra lightweight aluminum trowel we use for that it’s pretty sweet, it’s on our Amazon store I believe 🤙🏽
Yeah they’re always useful for sure. 😊Can’t say how this one is, good deal if it lasts, but I can tell you we got these other ones on Amazon awhile back that have been very reliable and have lasted a super long time. Think it’s a 2 pack of them for under 20 bucks if I’m not mistaken, if you’re interested the link is in the video description. 🤙🏽
I used to think my dad was weird for buying stuff at harbor freight when I was young... now when I am older and my pride has gone away with age... I shop there all the time. Lol How life changes a person’s perspective.
Nice! Thanks! 👊🏽😊 Yeah definitely, be surprised how many times I’ll take a shot on something cheap like that just for fun and it turns out to be great and last! Our little backpacking stove was like $10 on Amazon and has lasted for nearly a decade and is still going strong! 😂🤙🏽
Man that sucks. You should check out the headlamps in our Amazon gear video we’ve had those things for years and they’re still going strong! Cheap too! 🤙🏽
That folding chair will go on sale soon for Father's Day. We have several that I picked up for $24.99 last year. Much more comfortable than those folding camp chairs.
That could be a fun video! 😊 In the meantime check out this video we made awhile back about making a little survival kit out of a prescription bottle. It will give you some ideas on what exactly I will be putting in there! 😎🤙🏽 ruclips.net/video/EUj-LNcQXYo/видео.htmlsi=CUrprlEFv5La9y4P
Take it easy guys. Nobody said I don’t know how to sharpen a blade. All I was saying is that if I’m buying a new hatchet, I would rather buy one that’s ready to go. I can sharpen it later after as needed.
We don’t have this exact brand but ours just kinda smelled like a yoga mat or something at first I think, they air out a bit though the more you have them outside.
It's $7. Definitely worth it just for the material it provides in an emergency. Metal. A sharp edge. The matches. For $7??? I mean take care of it the best you can but you better have a primary knife if you're looking for real survival. All I know is I'd rather have this than nothing in an emergency at arms reach
The only thing of value you showed are their thicker mil tarps and the sling shot. That "survival" knife wouldn't last and is a novelty item. It's the same with their tools. There are some quality items mixed in with ALOT of junk.
Ahhhh there was some decent stuff in there that we’d get some use out of. That survival knife was surprisingly sharp right out of the box too and feels pretty solid, but yeah man whatever it was 8 bucks lol so if it snaps in half at some point who cares still fun 😎🤙🏽
The survival knife only needs to have the blade set into the handle with JB Weld. Take out the set screw, mix the JB Weld, put in the shank slot, the jam the blade back in and run in the set screw, let set for minimum of 24 hours. The. You can work with it without worrying that the blade will get loose. I did this and have it in my truck for a variety of uses. I also used bankline to wrap the metal handle so it can be handled in cold weather without gloves when needed.

that little lantern works great
you can unscrew the lid (the top part) and you can store 3 extra aa batteries in it
Thanks again for another fun video. I gotta get me a slingshot...........
Glad you enjoyed it! 👊🏽😊 Hahahaha I HAD to get that thing I haven’t had one of those in years! 😎😁🤙🏽

That lantern lit my camping area up at night for five days till it started going dim. They are nice cheap lanterns. I have two of them.
Nice! 😊🤙🏽

That machete i have. But im going back for that knife and sling shot lol😅
😎😎😎😎🤙🏽
Great tips you two! I couldn’t resist the slingshot. Look out!
Hahaha thanks! 👊🏽😁🤙🏽
The foam mats are such a steal! I wanted to get some to put under my cot so i wouldn’t have to worry about the feet tearing a whole in the floor

Sweet 😊🤙🏽
the word 'button' (2 t's)(they are NOT silent) but ton.,.it be absolutely absurd(its a 'fad/trend'..is not ba un..got that?

Awesome channel, keep up the great work !
Thanks! 👊🏽😃 Really appreciate it thanks for watching! ☺️🤙🏽
Couldn't of said it better myself 👍
The lanterns and lights come with batteries included. You would spend almost as much for batteries alone and the batteries last a long time.
Slingshot is a part of our camp at my brothers camp site, not ihave it put up for safe keeping,,used rocks to sling across the river
How about a trowel to dig a cat hole for poop? You could use the other shovel, but a trowel is easier to put in a daypack.
Haha yeah hmmm we didn’t spot one of those there I guess? 🤔 We got an ultra lightweight aluminum trowel we use for that it’s pretty sweet, it’s on our Amazon store I believe 🤙🏽
Definitely want that headlamp, we have a trailer but that would be super helpful around the house or when I. The trailer

Thanks great video! Will be going to Harbor Freight tomorrow!
No problem glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for watching! Haha nice have fun! 😃🤙🏽
Harbor freight is awesome
Haha yeah they got some good stuff. 😎🤙🏽
I have one of those survival knives and it is a great buy.
Nice! 👊🏽😃 Yeah for that price figured why not!? 😎🤙🏽
I used to think my dad was weird for buying stuff at harbor freight when I was young... now when I am older and my pride has gone away with age... I shop there all the time. Lol
How life changes a person’s perspective.
I was just in that store where you talked about everything I wanted to buy. Nice work. At those prices, it's worth taking a chance on.
Nice! Thanks! 👊🏽😊 Yeah definitely, be surprised how many times I’ll take a shot on something cheap like that just for fun and it turns out to be great and last! Our little backpacking stove was like $10 on Amazon and has lasted for nearly a decade and is still going strong! 😂🤙🏽
The lantern i got had the batteries leak and the lantern never worked after that. If you shop rope, dont forget 'Mule tape.'
The slingshot is awesome!
😁🤙🏽
Nice video. Could've been even longer ❤
I purchases one of those headlamps. It never turned on once and the LED came loose in about 4 minutes. Trashed it. I'd expect it to work for 1 night.
Man that sucks. You should check out the headlamps in our Amazon gear video we’ve had those things for years and they’re still going strong! Cheap too! 🤙🏽
Can you please do a video for IKEA and Daiso? Thank you 🙏
That folding chair will go on sale soon for Father's Day. We have several that I picked up for $24.99 last year. Much more comfortable than those folding camp chairs.
Yeah those saggy camp chairs can be super uncomfortable!
Can you show us what you are filling your knife with?
That could be a fun video! 😊 In the meantime check out this video we made awhile back about making a little survival kit out of a prescription bottle. It will give you some ideas on what exactly I will be putting in there! 😎🤙🏽

Haha i knew you'd buy that knife lol.
🤷🏻♂️😁😂
I got the cheap hatchet at Harbor Freight. The blade was very dull. Would definitely recommend not going the cheap route for a hatchet.
Sharpen it up! 😃 That survival knife I bought there was actually way more sharp than I thought it would be! I’m still going to sharpen it though. 😎😂🤙🏽
It takes like 10 minutes to sharpen it with a file if you can’t do that you shouldn’t be buying hatchets😄
If it's dull buy a file, sharpen it up. If you can't do that, you shouldn't even be buying a hatchet.
Take it easy guys. Nobody said I don’t know how to sharpen a blade. All I was saying is that if I’m buying a new hatchet, I would rather buy one that’s ready to go. I can sharpen it later after as needed.
@@bigalsmith521 Don’t sweat it man haha just imagine the amount of misunderstanding comments we get on our videos. 🤦🏻♂️😂👊🏽😁
The anti fatigue mats stink to high hell
We don’t have this exact brand but ours just kinda smelled like a yoga mat or something at first I think, they air out a bit though the more you have them outside.
@@WhereWeWild I spoke to soon. Outside the tent is a great idea. I tried using them as a sleeping pad
The knife is junk the blade will break loose from the handle.
We shall see! If it does a little epoxy might do the trick, haha but regardless we are talking about 9 bucks here. 😁🤙🏽

Harbor Freight = tarp city.
Hahaha yeah they have a great selection for sure 😁🤙🏽
that machete and survival knife is garbage, dont buy those.
The knife has been great for the price. Still works just fine 😎🤙🏽
