I've purchased a 5 ton Hydraulic Drum puller for $79.99. Comes in it's own case, works great and a must if you work on cars/trucks. I also have a Hydraulic floor jack for $39.99. Small but does the job well. Another item is the Black and Yellow storage boxes. You can rearrange the boxes, the lid stays on tight and they are $8.99. These are just some things I have from Harbor Freight.
Step Bits are very easy to sharpen. File or grind the flat inside edge. Cheapies are good to practice on.
Very nice. I might try that out 👍
This! I use the side of my belt sander for it or a flat file in the field.
BIG T!!!
LET'S GO!!!🏁 I've been getting that marine-grade heat shrink from Harbor Freight for over 10 years..that stuff is the best
Nice. Great to hear. Ya I have always had good experiences with the heat shrink
I agree on the marine grade. I use it on all trailer and equipment connections.
@@tracywagoner4907 it's good stuff..👍
I use the magnetic rail as a guide when I want to cut a straight edge with my plasma cutter. It doesnt slip and the heat doesn't hurt it.
Very nice. Good thinking
Go Huskers! I have the heat shrink and magnets. I also bought the 15" Pittsburg adjustable wrench a while back, was tired of skinning my knuckles changing my table saw blade. It isn't the prettiest wrench, but it wrenches just fine.
Very nice!!! Ya that adjustable still had its place. Thanks for sharing. Go huskers!
Hey Tony, love the vids! Great presention and great tools picks. Do you know of any tool for removing a very (stuck) cv axle shaft I got a rust bucket of a Nissan Altima (03) 3.5liter...help!!
Hello again Tony
Thank you for another Great Video. Nice selection. Again thank you
Tha k you and thanks for watching 👍👍
I buy the heat shrink in rolls, magnetic trays work good except the the magnets. Come off a little epoxy or hot glue fixes the problem.
👍👍👍
Nice vid, Tony. The HF magnetic clip tool rails are pretty nice as well.
Thabk you 👍
Some people have addiction to alcohol, drugs, gambling I have an addiction to HarborFreight! I have only found two things I don’t buy at HF, Batteries and hose clamps, Every thing else has worked for me!
Haha very nice. Glad to hear it
Those step bits are freaking gold. And the 1/4" hex shaft makes it so you can use them in a 1/4" bit driver extension for limited access or deep holes. Say a 3/4" hole where there isn't even clearance for a 3/4" bit in front of the hole, much less a drill body. They've gotten me out of many jams. It's also nice to have a cheaper set of these around as when you're using them you're typically already doing abusive things with your drill bits. While the spiral ones cut faster, the straight ones are way easier to sharpen than the spirals and have less of a tendency to suck into the material and accidentally go a size or two over. Lastly to help land on the right size and not over shoot or have to stop and check where you're at, before you start drilling run the bit in reverse and put a sharpie stripe on the step one above the size you're going for. And now for a good laugh, my old boss called them orange county chopper bits. After the TV show. Because towards the end of every episode when they were trying to assemble things and the holes weren't lining up they'd just grab one of these and start making all the holes bigger until they could get the bolts through!
Haha that's funny I never caught that. And ya I absolutely agree with you. These have helped in so many instances. I do like the idea of using it with a bit extension. That will be very helpful. Thank you for watching and commenting.
@@TonyTheTechnician You also might mind it helpful using them in a right angle adapter like the Milwaukee 49-22-8510 or ARES 70790 for tight clearance spots. Makes for a really versatile, compact head, low profile setup and can pair with extensions to get really crazy with it! Love the content you're putting out and happily watching and following along. I run my own business doing welding/fabrication and find your videos on hand tools and tool organization to be really helpful in my shop.
@@spevakdesigns thabk you I really appreciate it. That means alot and ya that's a great idea using it with the right angle adapter. You can get it in spots you couldn't get big bits into. Great tips. I appreciate that
I bought the cheapy gearwrench pick set because only the old tekton pucks were available on Amazon at the time. Still working with them but may get the new tektons to supplement them.
Nice and as long as they work for you that's what matters 👍
ive had the central pnuematic die grinder that i purchased 3 or 4 years ago and she is still operating well
Very nice!!
"Having length is really handy" ~TTT
Lmao I was waiting for someone to comment on that 🤣
That what she said.
@@willb3018 🤣🤣🤣
Double jointed Quinn needles nosed have held up pretty well and great price for the quality. Not as good as channel locks but definitely up in the same area
Nice. Thanks for sharing
You are correct two times, the magnetic strips in the past had been free, I bought a bunch at that price at that time😁
Secondly you are correct they are awesome even at $5, very handy.
And right now if you look around on the net you can find a coupon for this weekend and they're only 3 bucks 👍
Haha nice. Thanks for sharing your thoughts. I thought that's what I remembered but it was awhile ago so wasn't sure. Thanks for confirming and ya I saw that coupon for $3 that's a good deal
I have probably a dozen of the magnetic bars and magnetic parts trays from when they were free. I don't really go to HF much since they got rid of free stuff and coupons.
Tony,
I was looking for something magnetized to put on the side of my tool chest (to hold pry bars and breaker bars). Do you have any recommendations on a good quality magnetic setup for the side of a full sized tool chest?
After being posted a year or more, you have likely found your own solution, but I thought that I suggest a few things that might help newer viewers.
Depending on the pry bar weights you might be able to stack three or more mag-bars a couple of inches apart to hold them. If they are too heavy, then look for some large used speakers from Goodwill and remove the Magnets from them to place and hold the heavier stuff. You might also fab a simple metal tray to mount underneath the Mags to screw on to support the weight while the Mags just hold them in Position!
Get CREATIVE... there are NO STUPID IDEAS... Good Luck
thanks
The only HF tools that really disappointed me were the drywall texture gun and the 12v battery charger. Everything else I’ve bought there over the last 25 years has been more than sufficient for home project use.
Very nice. Thanks for sharing
After using that heat shrink for years I will always keep some on hand but these days my connections are made with the solder butt connectors. Heat gun to solder. Heat shrink and adhesive.
Absolutely the solder butt connectors are amazing. I still solder on terminal ends but anytime I'm connecting 2 wires the solder connectors are a go to!!
@@TonyTheTechnician yeah. Pretty annoying they only make them in butt connector style...
@@nickabel8279 ya that would be cool to have different style end connectors with that built in solder and heat shrink
@@TonyTheTechnician it occurred to me I could make my own but seems time consuming...
ive used the old bit set of 3 pcs set for 8 bucks they last, ive used them at work too. so much cheaper than unibits at 25 bucks a piece
Absolutely agreed. Same here 👍
I buy the hose clamps. They aren't too bad for the price
XMAS time on sale $9.95 for The Channellock HP-4A 4 Piece Hook and Driver Pick Set with Acetate Handle (made in USA on handle). I got two sets. I like my snap-on picks also but my favorite is the 90-degree Channelock pick.
Very nice. Great deal
--Ullman is good for picks also. US made as well.--
Edit: I couldn't find any US made Ullman sets for sale. That makes the Channellocks hands down the most affordable US made option. I do miss the omission of the complex pick in that set though.
@@spevakdesigns The ones I see on Amazon say China? What am I missing?
@@branned I just checked to try and buy another set like the others I have and either they changed their country of manufacture or someone made convincing clones to sell under their name and that's all there is on Amazon now 👿
@@spevakdesigns I agree!
I've been buying cheap tools and odds and ends from HarborFreight for years. My favorite buys have been freebies and coupon deals. I've gotten switched battery operated closet lights, the magnetic tool trays and bar that you featured, the 5 mil gloves, batteries, bicycle cable locks, and other small items. I only fix things around my house, so the low priced tools are perfect for me.
Very nice. Glad you have found some items that work well for you. Thanks for sharing
I enjoy both of your channels. This one, and The Electric Viking. You could be twins.
Hahaha I just watched a couple of his videos.
@@TonyTheTechniciantwins!
Any tool you're going to only use once in a while (as long as precision isn't a factor, i.e. no t-square, ruler, tape measures, calipers.) Hand Screw Clamps and Spring Clamps.
I agree with this as well 👍👍👍
I just got the noise canceling head phones for 15 bucks they're great
Hey T...I hope ya got SOMETHING for the JEGS mat background..😆
HarFray has great stuff I F ya take care of it...I've got SEVERAL of their welders,hand-tool sets and trailer/accessories... other than a few(lower Q.C. standards)fails with my purchases which were replaced WITHOUT question I've had no problems.
Just remember to be nice to your malnourished tools...The die HORRIBLY and at the WORST time otherwise...Later Bro,keep the education comin' for the uneducated...THANKS🤘OH BTW...Just subbed dude.
Haha nah just my work bench mat. I'll have to check them out. Thanks for watching and for the support. I appreciate it
Good video. Off subject, but only 2 days left for Tekton 20% cash rewards program.
Tha k you and thanks for sharing that info

So this series will continue
Lol as long as I keep buying and finding good deals
Hold up, do you live in nebraska?
No I'm originally from Nebraska.
5 things you should buy at HF… this video brought to you by Jegs. 😂
Lmao 🤣
Yay first comment!
Haha nice 👍
@@TonyTheTechnician hello
Normally love your reviews, but, how is it logical to recommend a tool, while reiterating that the tool isn't the best 19 times in 2 minutes?
Thanks and that's bc I know there will be those people who say it's junk compared to this 30 dollar step bit. And I wanted to make sure people knew I'm not comparing it to expensive bits. For how cheap it is. It's a good bit. And just bc it's not the best doesn't mean it's not worth it
@@TonyTheTechnician fair enough
