  • Legs against the wall exercises by Dr Atrayee Niharchandra,
Follow the simple wall exercises for a host of health benefits . Legs Up the Wall Pose (or Viparita Karani) is a restorative yoga posture that allows the mind and the body to relax, relieving stress and tension. It is one of the most approachable yoga poses as it doesn’t require much flexibility or strength. But even though it’s a passive pose, its benefits are pretty amazing.
    Some of them are:
    1. Aids Relaxation
2.Facilitates venous drainage and increases circulation
3.Stretches the hamstrings and lower back
    4.Relieves lower back tension
    5.Pelvic Floor Relaxation

Excellent vedio. Thanks. I never had lower back fetiuge, however I started the leg raising against the wall exercise a couple of weeks ago and I am getting lower back fetiuge or pain. How long should the beginner do this exercise and what is the maximum time limit? After how long lower back fetiuge or pain should be recovered? Thanks. 😀

You can use a small pillow or roll a towel below the lower back to avoid back pain . As a starter you can do for 10 to 15 min max .

Thank you! by the way, is it just me ya fir sabko subtitle mein Devnagri mein weird captions nazar aa rahe hain ( not related to this video) - that it so creepy and weird. I am wondering why no one else pointed that out.

@Arogya PhysioTips I think captions /subtitles are on when the video was uploaded and when I see minutely, it's trying to convert her said words into Devanagari immediately causing weird translations 🤣 I took some screenshots but I see there is no option to upload photos to comment here. Anyway if it's just me, no issues, good that others don't see it but you may check the caption option when uploading next video 😊 just a friendly suggestion.

The circulation will improve.Legs up the wall pose activate the parasympathetic nervous system, which stimulates the relaxation response of our mind and body. It calms your nerves, releases stress and tension, and maintains balance. The regular practice of the Viparita Karani pose can influence the body’s self-healing ability.
