just want to say a massive THANK YOU for putting together these videos and the links - they must take so much time but ive been looking forward to them each quarter !
I love how Jacky93 had the ATS2 shop toy help with creativity skill, as in real life play-based learning helps young children to better their creativity and problem solving skills.
@@BellaDovah I mean that would make sense if the toy made logic a necessary part of the process, for example, if you made it a science kit with a booklet full of info of chemistry and stuff, But in this case, creativy makes more sense, since you have to *create* the situations you will play pretend right from the start, and how you will react according to what happens during the game(example: you dropped the fruit → option1: apologize and gift more fruit to the customer | opt2: drop the rest and pretend you actually have personal beef with the customer, so you start telling him your 2 cents) That kind of creative play requires imagination, a creative skill, not logic, an objetive and almost numerical skill Maybe i'm just biased, because, as an artist myself, it was always easier for me to play pretend and create new situations for my toys, than to solve logical games(i suck at math, low logic skill😂) like puzzles or "deductive" games, which do require logic and no creativity.
So many awesome mods!! I LOVE the deadly supernaturals, and the babies need nappies mod!! Definitely needs a re-mesh, if you do that, tag me. Otherwise Ill look into it as soon as I can. The chaos with the Goths was so funny btw 😅 and Don almost burning to death in his tanning beds 🤣🤣 priceless

@@mariek3460 welcome! Its lovely to hear you’d be interested in that :) I do intend to do that eventually! I’m slowly working on rebuilding my downloads folder so once I’m done or have more progress I’ll be able to pick them out and share!
Two things: 1. Don had it coming, he should consider himself extremely lucky that it wasn’t permanent 😂 2. I adore the videos of the new mods. It’s so helpful to see them in action.
Siknoy336 here! I will be adding simlish recolors to the diapers as well as making it cuter!! It was kind of just a test mod I didn’t quite it to get as many likes ❤

I've been using an earlier version of Nopke's Altered Genetics mod and have had no problems with it. I wanted it so I could have a greater chance for redheads in Pleasantview. I've set it up so that all hair colors have an equal chance at being inherited. I did the same thing with eye colors.
@@calvinengland It really builds nature enthusiasm?! I didn’t know that… if it does I will definitely add that to my to-do list, though can’t promise it will be made soon
@ it does yeah, it seems so odd :/ I also I kind of think a mod that makes darts & pool build sports instead of games would be cool! If you know of any tutorials on how to do this I could give it a go perhaps!

@@GustavoFernandesKing not everyone that reads the blog post watches the video, I wanted to make it accessible and logical for everyone, I figured everyone knows the alphabet so thats why I did it alphabetically, also Ctrl + F is a thing too, but perhaps I’ll consider doing it like that next time
Never have I gone from so incredibly excited to so bitterly disappointed so quickly as the boba station. EVEN if they couldn't be arsed with the animations, the fact that they didn't even bother putting a straw in the drink... As a boba fiend who was looking foward to giving their sims the gift of boba, that's a 0/10 for me.
