The Sims 3 autonomy is SO GOOD. Watching this video makes me miss it sooo much. I used to love making big households and then setting them lose, just watching the drama unfold. But in Sims 4 they all just autonomously ignore each other and go to play games on a computer it's so boring. They really missed out on the *magic* in the sequel 😔

I don't know if you'll see this, but you can delete all those boat houses and Isla Paradiso (the city you play in) stops lagging. Worked for me and I love playing there
As a player who usually would build a house, dress the whole family and call it a day I was amazed by how many design choices can be made in Sims 3. BUT it was also my first open world experience, so i even started to actually play with sims and messing around. My laptop was logging off every 10 min tho)) It's weird to hear people calling models in S3 ugly, when hair in S4 literally looks like plastic
The sims 3 is such a good game and so nostalgic for me. I used to play it all the time when I was younger and I only had the base game and I would spend hourss playing just the base game. Ugh I miss it. I need a new laptop
I also have to say theres a lot of things about build/buy mode that are much more complex than the sims 4, like how you can do split level houses with cheats, auto roofs, customizable staircases and fences, THE COLOR WHEEL, among others.

Me playing Sims 3 for 21 generations until I lost my save = 🤩 VS playing Sims 4 for one whole generation (from first birth to death) = 🥱, next! PS: in Sims 3 it was actually challenging playing with 8 (but 4 was my minimum number or else I was bored) VS in sims 4 the split and loading screen took the fun of the game for me, I literally build houses that you don't have to leave them at all. Felt like Barbie but not in the good way😭 !!First time I tried to play sims 2 this year and it's so much harder in a good way than 3 and especially 4. But I still prefer 3 or 4 (4 only CAS, 3 all but CAS).
There was a SIMS version where you could be an actual witch or warlock and do spells. I think it was an expansion of maybe the SIMS 1? It had some serious Charmed/gothic feeling. And you could have pets expansion, so you could give them a black cat :p I don't know if you can recreate something like that in SIMS 3? Playing retro games are the best feeling sometimes :) I never went further than 2, but I must try nr 3 maybe :D
I need to get my sims 3 back on my CP! I have the collection of sims 2 but it crashes within 5 minutes so I’m stuck playing sims 4 which kind of bores me now . Sims 3 was my first ❤
I don't know if you've ever played them / heard of them but it'd be so cool if you did a review of the MySims games! I loved those games so much and they're each super different and not that long to beat and they all have p slayful outfits
also remember that the Sims 4 was meant to be an online game called project Olympus so that's why the model of the Sims are messed up or the gameplay is very buggy, because they were meant to be a low quality model, also why the hairstyles in in The Sims 4 aren't like in the other Sims games
I will add a caveat: it’s frozen and crashed on me more times than The Sims 4 ever has. It even caused me to break my first computer monitor out of frustration. I was 13. 😅 With that said, I don’t hate The Sims 3. I just think that when I look back… it wasn’t this perfect angel.
And also i used to play sims 2 first also and i didnt like sims 3 when it first got out BUT that is because i never played it and was so biased about TS2 ..after some years i started saving money for TS3

Sims 3 improves on the sims 2 TS4 feels like it's own thing. There is nothing in that game that resembles the rest of the series. It's not even about open world, that doesn't compare when playing legacy for example. Multiple of my friends lost their families, sims glitching out, dying, or randomly getting deleted?? I mean it truly feels like a demo for a game rather than the finished game😂😂

I honestly had too many bad experiences, in terms o performance with TS3 even with a good set up and everything. But after a whole lot of gameplay fixes (which EA should have done before abandoning the game) and some tweaks here n there u can get TS3 to run pretty ok, but never prefect lol
God 3 is just so superior to 4 it's not even funny. I got 4 a couple of years ago when they we giving it away for free, played it for like 2 hours and never touched it again. And you might say, oh Cookie, you were playing 3 for a while at that point right? So you probably had expansions that make you like 3 more than 4 because you had more content, so obviously you liked 3 better! And to that I say, no, at that point I didn't have any expansions for 3 either, because i couldn't afford them, so I just played base 3. So. Sims 3 Supremacy!

I have NRAAS mods that help with running the game and they help so much that I literally play in Isla Paradiso hehe

if ur game is laggy there's like many videos explaining how to fix it, it takes time tho but it's worth it

I used a mod for the skin, (I have a default replacer), eyelashes, and their hair. clothes are all from the game itself

Get the mods that clean up the errors and you’ll have no problems with sims 3!(do remember to save from time to time just in case but yeah ehehe)
